Azmera PANAMA 2026 | Prayer Calendar (April 19 - April 25)
Please join us in praying for the women who will gather in both Panama and South Africa this week - those who are volunteering their time and gifts and those attending and looking for rest, renewal, and refreshment. As you spend time in prayer this week, please allow the Holy Spirit to guide you in who and what to pray for from these prayer suggestions.
Sunday, April 19
The Panama Haven Retreat ends today! Pray for all the women gathered together as they spend one last morning together listening, learning, praying, worshiping, and sharing one final time. Ask for there to be a continued sense of safety and space to be authentic and vulnerable. Pray for the Connection Crew as they make themselves available once more for the women attending, as well as to the Lord for the final things He may have in store for them, both to give and receive. Ask that as the women attending prepare to leave, they will make time for one more encounter with the Holy Spirit, to allow Him to seal in their hearts and minds the good words, truths, and love that He spoke to and over them the past four days.
Pray for S as she desires to be more spiritually and emotionally mature. Ask that she would be intentional about forming friendships with women who will disciple and mentor her, that she would have a posture of learning and receiving encouragement, teaching, and gentle correction. Pray she would begin to see the fruit of her work and would grow in confidence and faith.
Pray for N as she recognizes her need for rest, renewal, the opportunity to step away from things, and to be ministered to instead of the one ministering. Pray that she would allow herself to be led to quiet waters to rest and lean on the Lord, to give Him space to speak words of truth, life, and love to and over her. Ask that she would be filled to overflowing with light, hope, and a new perspective and desire to continue the good work she has been doing.
Pray for L as she ministers to teenagers in her city of service. Ask for her to have wisdom and understanding as she meets the kids where they’re at emotionally and spiritually, specifically the ones who have come from rural areas and will be adjusting to many different things. Pray she would be connected with the Lord on a regular basis, to allow Him to give her guidance, rest, and lead her on the path He has set before her.
Pray for J as she recognizes her need for healthier boundaries and consistent self-care. Pray she would be wise in asking for help, in learning to say a good “no,” and in learning to set aside time to care for herself as she cares for those around her. Ask for protection and peace for her as she creates a healthier lifestyle so that she can give of herself in better, more abundant ways.
Pray for L and her team as they look ahead towards the end of the semester, along with the events and programs they will be hosting. Ask for wisdom as they wind things down for the school year, that they would focus on loving well and continuing to share Jesus with those around them. Pray for her to look forward to a time of rest and renewal, to not fill her calendar up with extra things just because she can, but to be intentional about caring for herself.
Monday, April 20
Pray for the South Africa Connection Crew as they deal with jet lag, rest, and get to know one another. Pray for a united mindset and focus as they work together, for there to be lighthearted moments as they share and connect with each other.
Pray for L and the new church plant she is involved with. Pray for a continued sense of excitement and hope as they get things off the ground and become involved with the community around them. Ask for a deeper trust and faith in God and His goodness, provision, and faithfulness as they walk in obedience on the path He has set before them.
Pray for V, and the season of transition she is in, both with ministry and with a long-term relationship. Ask that as she navigates both of these situations, she will continue to trust God with her heart and the direction of her life and ministry. Pray for her to know peace, hope, and joy as she experiences faith in different ways and sees how God is at work in and around her.
Pray for A and her family as they prepare for Home Assignment beginning in June, as well as the changes in ministry and focus as they look ahead towards what is yet to come. Pray for the time they spend with family and friends will be restful and life-giving, that they will experience Jesus in new ways, and would know His goodness and provision in all things. Ask for wisdom and peace as they prepare to transition out of their current ministry and prepare to start in new areas, for their trust in God to be full and their faith to be firm.
Pray for C as she desires to see growth in a new country and in ministry areas, specifically as she works with people with disabilities and with anti-trafficking projects. Pray for protection, wisdom, and boldness as she comes alongside people in need and learns how to share the love of Jesus in tangible and holy ways. Ask for her to maintain secluded time with the Lord, to connect with Him, and to allow Him space to speak life, truth, and love to her.
Pray for A to have the stamina and energy to finish this semester and year well. Ask for her to have focus and a new perspective after her time at the Haven Retreat, that she would return to work and ministry refreshed and excited to jump back into the things she left behind. Pray for her to have support and encouragement from her community, for people to ask for help when she needs it.
Tuesday, April 21
Pray for the Panama Connection Crew as most of them head back home to families, jobs, ministries, and responsibilities. Pray for safe and smooth travels, good connections, and rest as they make their way home. Pray as well for members of the Connection Crew who will stay in Panama a few extra days, for them to be safe, healthy, and to have good moments of connection and processing the things experienced during the Haven Retreat.
Pray for A to have wisdom, understanding, and a new level of compassion as she leads her ministry this year. Pray she would be sensitive to the needs of those around her, and would be open and willing to hear suggestions, different perspectives, and offers of help as she leads. Ask for her to make time to spend with the Lord on a regular basis, to stay connected with Him, and allow Him to lead and guide her steps.
Pray for H and her husband as they parent their kids, two young teenagers and an 8-year-old. Ask for wisdom as they navigate the moods, friendships, and situations their kids are in, that they will be compassionate, understanding, and kind with one another and their children. Pray for their marriage, that they would be united and focused together and not apart; for good communication, for love and joy, and for honesty in all things.
Pray for J as she trusts God to provide for her the finances and time she desires to be able to do the things that will give her rest and renewal. Pray she would see how He is at work for her, to see her prayers and desires come to fruition in God’s timing and goodness. Ask that she would be intentional about staying connected to Him, and would know her mind and heart renewed daily as she focuses on Him first.
Pray for Y to see God’s goodness, faithfulness, and provision as she asks boldly and in faith. Ask for her to walk in a new season of trust and hope, as He builds her faith through answering her prayers and showing His power and kindness. Pray she would become more confident and secure in her walk with God.
Pray for A as she steps more into the calling she senses from God on her life, in ministry, and location. Pray she would be excited as she experiences God in new and different ways and as she learns about herself and how to use the gifts and strengths He has given her. Ask for her to know peace as she learns patience and faith as she walks in God’s will for her life.

Pray for M as she navigates leading her team through transitions, as well as focusing on keeping the ministry healthy and thriving, along with grieving family losses close together. Ask that she would give herself grace and continued time to process the losses she has experienced recently; pray for a good community of support and compassion to surround her and come alongside her. Pray for her to love her family well, to show them the love and tenderness of Jesus, that they would be drawn to Him and would come to know Him for themselves.
Pray for M as she wants to find rest, for her to allow herself the time and space to rest deeply and be rejuvenated and renewed in both heart, mind, and body. Pray for her to learn how to make rest an intentional, consistent part of her routine as she sees how life-giving it is as she gives of herself to those around her. Ask that as she learns rest with the Lord, she will also experience a new joy in the work God has given her, that her heart will overflow with gratitude and happiness to be where God has led her.
Pray for EC as she navigates changes in ministry, for her to stay grounded and focused on the things God has set before her and to not allow herself to get caught up in things beyond her control. Ask that she would have a compassionate and tender heart for the needs of those around her and would be available and willing to step in when and where she can. Pray for wisdom as she parents her two kids, one in a gap year and one a teenager; pray for kindness, love, and laughter to fill their home.
