Azmera PANAMA 2026 | Prayer Calendar (April 12 - April 18)
Please join us in praying for our Spring Haven Retreats! We will be in Panama this week and in South Africa next week. There are a lot of women connected to both of these Retreats, so our encouragement - as always - is to pray as the Lord leads and not feel obligated to pray for everything suggested. Thank you for the time you will give as you pray with us for these women.
Sunday, April 12
Pray for the Panama Connection Crew as they begin their journey to Panama. Pray for safe travels, no missed connections or lost luggage, and good connections with one another as they meet and begin building their team mindset. Pray for the ones who have already arrived in Panama, that they would be rested and ready to switch gears into a ministry focus and mindset. Ask for good rest, full health and wellness, and energy for each woman on this volunteer team.
Pray for J as she desires to have wisdom to serve well. Pray she would be intentional about spending time with the Lord and listening to His voice, to follow as He leads with bravery and confidence. Ask for a deeper faith and trust in God as she steps into new areas of service and ministry.
Pray for J as she works towards meeting her goal of full financial funding. Pray that as she waits on the Lord, she would be confident in His timing and provision, and would see how He is at work around her. Ask that she would know His goodness and faithfulness and would continue to serve and work without restraint.
Pray for A as she is in a season of heaviness due to hard work situations and relationships. Ask that she would make time to step back from things to find rest and reconnect with the Lord and with herself. Pray for protection and peace over her heart and mind as she looks ahead towards better things to come, and would know God’s presence with her in the challenges and difficulties.
Pray for AC as she desires to find a weekly rhythm with God. Pray she would find intentionality in how she spends her time in ways that suit her personality and soul desires. Ask that as she makes time with the Lord a regular habit, she will sense a shift in her heart, her perceptions, and how she interacts with those around her.
Pray for M as she sets healthier habits for time management, so that she can have a better balance with family, work, and ministry. Ask for wisdom and discernment as she sets new boundaries, for peace of mind and heart as she learns what healthy “yeses” and “no’s” look like. Ask for her to begin to see the fruit of her new boundaries in good and holy ways, for her to feel excited and hopeful as her time opens up to walk deeper in relationships and intentions.
Pray for M as she trusts God to provide the finances she needs to be able to go back to full-time service in South America. Pray she would be confident and bold in asking for financial support and would be gracious and humble in receiving. Ask for her heart and mind to be present and focused on what is in front of her now, and to trust the Lord with the things yet to come.
Monday, April 13
Pray for N to experience a deeper faith and trust in God and His provision as she witnesses how He has given her the finances to attend this Haven Retreat; pray she will know the favor of the Lord on her and His deep, abiding love for her. Ask that she would be filled with excitement and hope for the things she will learn and experience during the Haven Retreat.
Pray for M as she continues to grieve and process the death of her Mom two years ago, for her to be gracious and compassionate with herself as she looks for mental healing and wholeness. Pray for health and protection over her family against spiritual darkness and anything that would seek to divide and cause tension in their household. Ask for wisdom and discernment as they enter a season of transition with their kids, as one is entering High School and one is preparing to graduate High School.
Pray for J as she desires to grow strong, healthy relationships with her family and friends, as well as deepen her walk with the Lord. Ask that, as she makes time to be intentional and focused in these relationships, she would allow time for herself to be still and learn how to prioritize what is most important to her in her social and spiritual life. Pray for her to have hope and confidence that she will see and know the goodness of the Lord all the days of her life.
Pray for D and her husband as they continue to figure out what ministry looks like on an ongoing basis due to instability and security issues in their country of service. Pray they would be attentive and obedient to the Lord’s voice and leading, and would follow Him in boldness and confidence. Ask that as they adjust what ministry looks like, they would continue to see fruit from the work of their hands and would know God’s presence at work in them, through them, and all around them.
Pray for V as she looks forward to connecting with like-minded women at the Haven Retreat, as well as being able to rest and reset from work and ministry and the mundaneness of life. Ask for her heart, mind, and soul to be filled to overflowing with the goodness and love that God has for her, that He would speak to her and love her in unexpected and beautiful ways. Pray for her mom, whose home was burned down in September, that as she continues to rebuild and find her footing again, she would have the emotional and financial support she needs.
Pray for W as she continues to transition from working in the business field to full-time ministry. Pray she and her husband would be united in spirit, thought, and purpose and would encourage and support one another as they work together to spread the love of Jesus to those around them. Ask for protection and grace over their family and marriage, that they would keep their eyes fixed on the Lord and would trust His guidance and know His provision.
Tuesday, April 14
Pray for R to have a heart that is open and waiting for what the Lord has in store for her during the Haven Retreat. Ask that she would be intentional about listening to His voice and leading, and would experience Him in deep and true ways. Pray she would see His hand of provision and grace in her life.
Pray for G and her husband as they continue to adjust to their two children living in the States to pursue school and careers on their own. Ask that they would find exciting, healthy rhythms in their marriage and home as they reconnect with one another without the presence of kids in their home. Pray for perseverance and focus for her as she goes back to school to finish the degree she started years ago; pray she would be confident and hopeful as she learns and finds a new path for herself.
Pray for S and her family as they continue to heal and move forward from her daughter K’s eating disorder and mental health issues. Pray for protection and grace over this family as they continue to navigate the effects of this season on their family, relationships, and their own mental health. Ask for healing and wholeness, and for S to be able to find places of rest, love, and healing during her time at this Retreat.
Pray for L as she juggles finishing her PhD with full-time ministry and part-time volunteer work, as well as having time for connection and community outside of all of these things. Ask for her to see the value of taking time for herself for rest and self-care, as her life is very full of a lot of things. Pray she would be open to counsel and advice from those who know her best, and for wisdom in asking for help and learning to say “no” in healthy ways.
Pray for D as she anticipates the things the Lord has in store for her during her time at the Retreat. Pray her heart would be soft and open to the things God wants to say to her, that she would enter a new season of belief in who she is in the Lord. Ask for protection over her heart and mind from anything not of the Lord, that she would be confident in sifting through the things spoken to and over her, and would be able to lay aside the things not true for her in this time.
Pray for M and her husband as they encourage, support, and parent two of their children from afar, both of whom are in the States for College, and as they parent and guide their youngest through the last two years of high school. Ask for wisdom, discernment, and understanding as they meet each child where they’re at and as they navigate this new season of life within their family. Pray they would also be thoughtful and intentional about the time they spend with one another, that there would be a renewed focus and priority on their marriage.

Pray for calm, gentle, and humble hearts with one another, for understanding, grace, and trust as they learn to work together in different ways. Pray for rest, energy, presence, protection, and focus for each of these women who have stepped out of their regular lives for this time and place.
Pray for the women attending as they arrive, that they would sense the presence, love, and welcome of Jesus through the Connection Crew. Pray for protection over her physically, spiritually, and mentally, that as she serves those around her, she would do so with the power and love of Jesus.
Pray for R to have wisdom in decisions she’s making, that she will not second-guess herself but will move in confidence as she trusts the Lord’s leading. Ask that she would be intentional about how she spends her time, whether that is in quiet with the Lord, in relationship with others, or in hands-on ministry with those around her. Pray for her to have a quiet boldness and deep faith.
Pray for A as she works with those around her to build a church plant and a soup kitchen, as their desire is to meet physical as well as spiritual needs. Pray for their community to be open and willing to receive the nourishment offered in many different ways, and for this team to be sensitive to those they’re serving, as well as attentive to the voice of the Holy Spirit as He guides them and shows them how to love.
