Azmera NORTHERN IRELAND 2025 | Prayer Calendar (November 8 - November 12)
Hi! Please join us for a few more days in praying for the women who attended our Northern Ireland Haven Retreat. Pray as the Lord leads, and know His presence and goodness with you in the time you spend with Him.
Saturday, November 8
Pray for A as she longs for community and deep friendships, and also grieves the loss of those friendships left behind in the U.S. Pray for the friendships God gives to her in this new place, that she would be filled, encouraged, and supported, and not feel lonely in the city she serves. Ask for a connection with other moms in her area who can relate to and support her in this stage of life.
Pray for R and her family as they navigate the hope of being able to stay in their country of service, even as they have witnessed many others being told to leave. Pray for wisdom and peace of mind as they trust the Lord with their present and their future, that they would trust God’s faithfulness, protection, and guidance. Ask for wisdom, as they have been in a position of leadership within their church, that they would lead with grace, humility, and kindness.
Pray for C to experience the healing of God’s hand in her body, specifically in her back and leg; pray for everything in her body to come into alignment, for pain to cease, and for wholeness to flow through her. Ask for her to be aware of God’s goodness and provision in her body, and in the increase in financial support that she and her family are needing.
Pray for L to hear God’s voice clearly as she seeks His leading in ministry, that she would see where her focus needs to be, and that she would know provision and time for those things. Ask for her to know His abundant provision and blessing over her personal life and relationships, that she would trust Him with the desires of her heart for the things she longs for and holds closely.
Pray for K as she adjusts to the new rhythms of a new ministry year, that she would continue to be energized and hopeful for the things at hand. Pray she would see the opportunities of new places to serve and connect with those around her, for her to be available and willing to go where God leads. Ask for a heart of compassion, humility, and love in increasing amounts.
Sunday, November 9
Pray for M as they have experienced a year of major transitions and moves, that they would find themselves in a season of rest and peace. Ask that they would also be able to see the fruit of their obedience and service over the past year, that they would be encouraged and have a deeper faith to follow as the Lord leads. Pray for a spirit of unity and for a household filled with love and peace.
Pray for S as she and her church adjust to life without their pastors, who were deported. Pray for their church as they go through this hard and sorrowful season, that even in the midst of the darkness and sadness, they would see the Light and know the goodness and love of God. Ask for God to bring new shepherds to this church, to tenderly love them and lead them.
Pray for W as she senses God leading her towards a season of transition. Pray she would be faithful to be attentive to the voice of the Lord, and would move in confidence and trust. Ask for a spirit of willingness and obedience as she moves forward in faith, for her to be excited and hopeful for what God has in store for her.
Pray for J and her family as they continue to adjust to a huge transition of ministry and place, learning a new culture, new relationships, new ministry, and new school. Pray for good connections and community where they will feel comfortable and at home. Ask that as they transition, they will give space for grieving and missing what they have known for so many years, and for compassion and understanding to fill their home and hearts.
Pray for PH as she gets back into her normal routine after spending time away at the Retreat, that she would find new rhythms in her time with the Lord, and allow Him to continue to encourage and refresh her through the reminders of the things she learned and witnessed while she was away. Pray that as she ministers and serves on campus, she would be sensitive and alert to the needs of those around her, and would offer tangible kindness and help as opportunities arise. Ask that she would see the fruit of the work of her hands as she walks in obedience and faith with the Lord.
Monday, November 10
Pray for J as she balances ministry with newly married life, for her to be wise and discerning in where she is giving her time and places she can step back from. Ask for healthy workplace dynamics, for understanding and compassion in maintaining work relationships, and helping to meet the needs of those around her. Pray she would be intentional about spending time with the Lord, to allow Him space to speak truth, love, and direction to her.
Pray for C as she continues to adjust to her new role within the Christian Embassy, that she would see clearly where God is not only using her, but is filling in the places where she feels inadequate and underequipped. Pray she would be filled with joy and kindness as she meets Ambassadors and their wives, for them to encounter the presence of Jesus when they interact with her. Ask that she would be sensitive and aware of her kids’ needs as they adjust to her change in vocation, as well as for her to be attentive and available to them.
Pray for A as she looks for ways to connect her knowledge of holistic healing with ministry opportunities, for her to be attentive and aware of the people and circumstances God brings her way. Ask for understanding and clarity as she practices the things she is learning through the College of Naturopathic Medicine program she is enrolled in. Pray she would see God at work in and through her as she becomes more aware of His presence in all things.
Pray for A as she seeks good rhythms in life and ministry, for her to have wisdom in where she needs to adjust time spent, to allow space for herself as well as for others to come alongside and use their gifts. Pray she would be confident in the choices she is making, and would see God’s hand of provision and steadiness in her life.
Pray for A to feel more confident and relaxed in her home and with her family as she gets back into the swing of things after being away for the Retreat. Ask that she would be filled with joy and peace as her family continues to share the things they experienced while she was gone, that she would see her husband’s capabilities in a new light, and be filled with thankfulness at God’s goodness in her life. Pray for her to have wisdom and to seek the Lord’s guidance in her life on a regular basis.
Tuesday, November 11
Pray for J as she continues to learn a new language, for comprehension and retention to be consistent as she learns. Pray for good relationships and opportunities to share Jesus with her classmates, professors, and neighbors around her. Ask for wisdom as she seeks to be more intentional about prioritizing her walk with the Lord and following through on regular times of rest and space for herself.
Pray for J to find new rhythms of rest, joy, and hope after coming back from the Retreat. Pray she would see all the ways God met her during her time away, to give rest, speak truth, and to love her gently where she is. Ask that she would allow the Lord to speak life, hope, and renewal in the places of burnout and weariness in both her and her husband’s hearts and lives.
Pray for A as she prepares for the birth of her seventh child, that the rest of this pregnancy would be smooth, healthy, and filled with joy. Pray for her to give devoted time and attention to each member of her family, even as they prepare for a new addition and transition as a family. Ask for protection and peace over her physically, mentally, and emotionally as she looks ahead to the season next to come.
Pray for I as she goes through another challenging season of renewing her visa, that things would be much easier and smoother this time around. Pray she would see God’s goodness and presence with her as she walks on this road yet again, that she would be aware of how and where He is at work, and would be eager to join Him and to give Him praise even in the midst of difficult circumstances.
Wednesday, November 12
Pray for Christina and the Board of Directors for Azmera, as they will take time to gather and discuss/debrief both of these Haven Retreats, as well as plan and prepare for what next year may hold. Pray for wisdom, discernment, and understanding as they share and plan for the future. Pray for there to be a safe space to share truth and to be honest and open with the observations they have to share, as well as to be bold in sharing the things God has laid on their hearts for this organization.
Pray for the Haven Retreats of 2026, that God will be clearing the path for the women He is setting aside space for to both attend and volunteer. Pray for wisdom for the Azmera staff as they decide who gets to volunteer when, for discernment and a spirit of humility and obedience as the Lord leads, especially when He sometimes leads differently than anticipated. Pray for generous provision of finances and time off for the women who will be a part of any of the Haven Retreats, for there to be a deep awareness of God’s goodness and timing.
Lastly - thank you! Always. We are so very grateful for your partnership and service through your prayers and petitions. The Haven Retreats would not have the impact or awareness of the Holy Spirit’s presence in the same way without the prayers faithfully and obediently given from you.
