Azmera NORTHERN IRELAND 2025 | Prayer Calendar (November 1 - November 7)
Welcome again, Friends! This week we our feet on the ground in Northern Ireland, and would love your prayers with and for us. We are excited for what the Lord is going to do over the next few days trust that our prayers will deeply impact the work that is being done. Thank you for being here, for allowing the Holy Spirit to lead you as you pray, and for your faithfulness to serve in this way. May you be blessed and encouraged in your times of quiet and prayer with the Lord this week.
Saturday, November 1
Today is the first full day of the Northern Ireland Haven Retreat! Pray for the women as they gather for worship, teaching, discussion, and prayer, that as they spend time with one another, they would sense the Spirit of the Lord with them and would be moved towards Him in holy and precious ways.
Pray for Ellie as she leads the Haven Retreat in worship, for her to be humble and gentle of heart and spirit. Pray she would be sensitive to the voice and leading of the Holy Spirit and would allow Him to lead her and create spaces of vulnerability and truth. Ask for protection over her for good health and a mind that is covered in the Light of Jesus. Pray for Grace as she ministers through teaching and sharing from her heart and experiences with the women gathered. Ask for a heart that would be connected to the Lord in a unique way for this time and place. Pray for her to allow Jesus to quiet the noise around her so that she can hear His voice more clearly and speak in boldness, truth, and love.
Pray for Christy and Kathy as they facilitate the Create Stations, that they would work in harmony with one another and have fun creating a space of fun, laughter, and light. Ask that they would sense the Spirit in their midst and would move and speak in obedience and trust. Pray for Tabitha and Keitha as they minister through massage. Pray for strength of hand and attentiveness of heart and ears to the Holy Spirit’s voice. Ask that they would rest well each night and be prepared for each day, and be willing to follow the Lord as He leads.
Pray for Savannah, Heather, and Rachael as they counsel women one-on-one, listening, encouraging, and sharing truths and advice. Ask that each of these women will be in tune with the Holy Spirit and will both speak and stay silent as they are led. Pray they will trust the Lord to lead them and give them the protection, rest, and peace they need for each day.
Pray for S to recognize how God provided for her to attend this retreat, in both finances and time away. Ask that as she looks forward to the time of refreshment and renewal, she will be aware of how God is meeting her differently this time than what she’s experienced in the past. Pray she will be in awe of how God meets her needs during this time, from the women she is seated with to the still, quiet moments where the Holy Spirit will minister specifically to the hidden places of her heart and mind.
Sunday, November 2
Pray for the women as they gather today, that there would be building on the things learned and shared from the previous times of gathering. Pray for good rest, laughter, and times of quiet for each woman as needed. Pray for the Connection Crew to continue to be united in spirit and thought as they minister together. Ask for there to be space to share with one another the things they are learning and experiencing for themselves.
Pray for Crystal and Christie as they minister to the women in a one-on-one setting to give spiritual direction and encouragement. Pray for them each to be intentional about sitting with the Lord each day to allow Him to give them direction, words of truth, and a covering of peace. Pray for Beth and Ashley as they serve through the ministry of Inner Healing Prayer. Pray for them to be filled with knowledge, discernment, and attentiveness to the voice of the Lord as they pray with and for the women. Ask for them to be rested and rooted in Christ each day.
Pray for Becky, Cheryl, Brittany, Rille, and Carolyn as they serve through giving pedicures and offer listening ears and prayers for the women who sit before them. Pray for boldness, compassion, and tender hearts as they minister. Ask that they would each be intentional about giving to the Lord the things they heard and witnessed that are not theirs to carry any further. Pray for Sharon and Stacey as they use the gifts of their hands to give haircuts and styles. Ask for them to be filled with joy and kind words for each woman who sits in their chairs, that there would be holy and safe conversations during the time they spend with each woman. Pray they would know each hear the phrase, “thank you for being here” in the right moment and from the right person, and know that phrase as a gift from the Lord.
Pray for S as she continues to trust God to provide for her needs in finances, support, and in practical ways in the area she lives in. Ask that she would be patient in waiting on Him and would be able to see His goodness in her life as He provides in His way and in His timing. Pray she would continue to feel refreshed and hopeful after a summer furlough.
Pray for A as she cares for her son, who is recovering from a broken leg. Pray for complete healing for him, and for their relationship to strengthen during this season as he is more reliant on her. Ask as well for her to know patience, compassion, and understanding as she works in a difficult nation and faces many unique challenges.
Monday, November 3
The Northern Ireland Haven Retreat ends today! Pray for the women as they gather together one last time and share in teaching, worship, connection, and prayer. Ask that as they prepare to leave, each woman would be filled with renewed hope, would feel rested and encouraged, and would look forward with hope and anticipation to the things they are returning to, knowing God’s presence with and for them.
Pray for the Connection Crew as they spend one last morning ministering together, being available to both the Lord and the women around them, and as they say goodbye to the women they’ve spent the past few days with. Pray for an abundance of energy and focus, and for their time of debrief and connection after the women have left. Ask for each of these women to be given the space and time to rest and process things on their own, aside from when they gather together to share the things they witnessed and experienced. Pray for Crystal as she leads the team in debriefing, that she would be sensitive to the voice of the Holy Spirit, as well as to the needs and moods of the women around her.
Pray for J as she trusts the Lord to provide for her financial needs as she serves in full-time ministry. Ask that she would have an open heart and mind to see how God is working, and to know that He will provide for her daily needs because of His love for her. Pray she would be sensitive to the voice and leading of the Holy Spirit, that she would walk in a state of obedience and humility.
Pray for N to see how God provides for her, in her attendance at the Retreat, as well as for other things in her life that she may only speak to Him about. Pray she would be filled to overflowing with goodness, hope, and a deeper faith through the things she experiences at this Retreat. Ask that there would be opportunity and open hearts and ears of people around her when she returns, to share the goodness of God.
Pray for C to be aware of the goodness of God through His provision for her, both financially and through the experiences she will have at the Haven Retreat. Ask that she would continue to have a heart of praise and delight in the Lord, that in times of worship and dancing, she will feel the presence of God and know the power of His light over darkness. Pray she would be bold in speaking His name and proclaiming the truth to those around her.
Tuesday, November 4
Pray for the women as they get back to their homes, families, and ministries, that they would be able to share the things they learned and experienced in safe, unhurried places. Ask for them to see the people, jobs, and ministries they’re involved in with new eyes and perspective, seeing where and how God is at work around and through them. Pray for a continued spirit and mindset of rest, hope, and joy.
Pray for E and her family as they continue to adjust to a new country of service, with the challenges that come in transitioning four children to a new everything, particularly for one son who is in a wheelchair. Pray for wisdom, discernment, and understanding as they shepherd their family and create space for everyone to find new routines and rhythms in safety and love. Ask for peace over their hearts and minds when things seem especially difficult and overwhelming.
Pray for A and her family as they long for a season of peace and focus on their ministry and family. Ask for a hedge of protection over this family as they count the cost of saying “yes” to the Lord’s leading, that they would also see the fruit and beauty from the “yes” and know God’s goodness and faithfulness to and with them. Pray for this year to be filled to the fullness with so many good things as they treasure this time before their kids leave home and begin their own journeys.
Pray for D to be filled with joy and hopefulness as she sees how God has provided for her to attend this Retreat, and to know His provision for her in all things. Ask that the things she hears, experiences, and learns during this time will deepen her faith and walk with the Lord, that she would return home changed in ways she didn’t realize were possible. Pray for protection over her as she focuses her heart and life on the Lord and trusts Him to clear the path for her.
Pray for K and the burden her heart is carrying for her son R. Pray that she would trust the Lord to be with her son and to protect him as he walks his own path and learns things for himself. Ask for his heart to be softened towards God and to be drawn back to Jesus in His perfect timing.
Wednesday, November 5
Pray for the Northern Ireland Connection Crew as they begin their trip back home. Pray for clear and smooth travels, for rest as they journey home, and for a continued space of absorbing the things they experienced and witnessed. Ask that they would be filled with awe and wonder at the work of God’s hands, at His goodness and faithfulness to meet each one of them during their time away, even as they served others.
Pray for B and her family as they adjust to the changes they’ve experienced recently, that there would be an abundance of grace and understanding in their home as they each deal with things in their own way. Ask for moments of light, laughter, and connection to remind them of the good and beauty around them. Pray for them to have wisdom as they are involved in several ministries, that they would be aware of how they are spending their time and would be confident in asking for help when needed.
Pray for N as she desires to connect with the women from her English class and get to know them in better, more personal ways. Pray she would make opportunities to hang out with them and would take the opportunities that are offered to her in return. Ask that as she begins making friends with the women, she would allow the Lord to lead her conversations, and would trust Him with the newfound friendships.
Pray for A as she has experienced two solid years of significant loss, and is weary with a hurt and heavy heart. Ask that the time she spends at the Retreat would be life-giving, healing, and holy in ways she doesn’t know to ask for, that she would experience Jesus meeting her right where she is with love, compassion, and an invitation to rest. Pray for her to encounter the Lord and to feel Him taking the burdens from her, as He brings to heal her heart and bring her to a new, deeper place of joy, faith, and hope.
Pray for S as she has trusted the Lord to provide finances to attend the Retreat, she would also trust Him to be abundant in His provision of rest, healing, and wholeness physically, spiritually, and emotionally. Pray she would encounter Him in tender and unique ways and would be reminded of His great love and faithfulness for her.
Thursday, November 6
Pray for K as she learns how to mother her children in a new season and for some of them from a different continent. Ask that she would have wisdom and discernment in continuing to guide her children, as well as for grace and understanding as they learn to figure things out for themselves. Pray she would trust the Lord with her children, especially as they navigate their own relationships with Him and learn to trust and have faith in Him on their own.
Pray for LK and her family as they continue to share God’s love and offer hope to those around them, as they all experience the trauma and challenges of the war in Israel. Pray they would be sensitive and compassionate with their friends and neighbors, and would learn how to offer love in tangible ways to those around them. Ask for protection and guidance over two of their children who are currently serving in the military, that they would see the goodness of God around them even in the midst of darkness.
Pray for H and her family as they continue an eight-year legal battle with their landlord, that things would come to a peaceful end, and there would be justice and reimbursement as needed. Ask that they would know God’s goodness in the midst of this, and would seek ways to share His love and be compassionate and kind even when it’s hard. Pray for protection and calm over their city and neighborhood as they live with the stress and challenges of the war around them.
Pray for D as she struggles with insomnia, that God would heal her from this. Pray that as she waits on the Lord, she would see where God is inviting her to rest - physically, as well as spiritually and emotionally. Ask that she would see God and know His love and goodness for her when the night seems longest, that she would know she is protected and loved.
Pray for A and her family as they adjust to a new city/area, which is about three hours from where they’ve previously been. Ask that the transition would be easy and smooth, and there would be obvious opportunities for new friendships and ministry.
Friday, November 7
Pray for E as she desires to have a willing and obedient heart, to recognize the opportunities God is inviting her into to practice what she is desiring. Pray she would be bold and courageous as she follows where the Lord leads, and would walk confidently on the path set before her. Ask that she would be intentional about learning to hear the voice of the Holy Spirit more clearly, and that in the time she spends with Him, she would have a deepened understanding and faith in God.
Pray for E to be encouraged as she follows God to the best of her abilities, that she would see the fruit of the work of her hands and from her obedience as He leads. Ask that she would be given clarity of vision as she seeks His will and looks to care for the needs of those around her. Pray she would have refreshed hope and joy as she walks closer with the Lord, for a heart and spirit that is renewed daily.
Pray for E to have a renewed sense of strength and to be encouraged in special ways by the people around her. Pray she would see God’s provision not just in finances, but for the daily needs and desires she has that may be left unspoken. Ask for people to come alongside her to offer support and resources, so that she does not feel so burdened and spread thin.
Pray for S as she feels the distance between her and her children, J and D, who are both in America. Ask that she would trust the Lord to be with her kids and would be able to see the fruit of His presence in their lives. Pray for her to have wisdom and discernment as she misses her kids, but also sees the need for her to experience friendship, ministry, and support where she is.
Pray for G as she balances ministry and friendships with being a wife and mother. Pray that as she is intentional about spending time with the Lord, she would see the fruit of her relationship with Him in the other areas in her life, for that to be an encouragement and source of life for her. Ask for her to see the pockets of time He gives her to step away and find rest and nourishment for her heart and soul.
