Azmera GEORGIA 2025 | Prayer Calendar (October 25 - October 31)

Welcome to another week of praying over our sisters in Georgia and in Northern Ireland! We have a lot going on this week, so please ask the Holy Spirit to lead you as you read through the prayer suggestions, and pray as He leads. Thank you!

Saturday, October 25

Pray for the Haven Retreat in its second full day! Pray that the things taught, learned, heard, and experienced already will be a good foundation for the things in store for today. Ask that the Connection Crew will be well rested, energized, and expectant for the things in store for today. Pray they would continue to work well as a team, to be compassionate and kind with one another and with those they interact with throughout the day. Pray that each woman attending the Haven Retreat will experience deep love, safety, and joy throughout the day.

Pray for Patti and Andi as they minister to the women attending through giving pedicures and offering space for listening and to pray with the women. Pray they would be gentle and attentive as they tangibly serve, that they would both be compassionate in the conversations they have. Pray for good health and plenty of rest for each of these women.

Pray for Cheryl as she facilitates the Create Stations and creates an atmosphere of rest, fun, and creativity. Ask that she would have fun as she serves and would allow the Lord to use her in ways she may not be expecting, but would be up for the challenges.

Pray for Holly as she offers her nursing services and knowledge, that the women she meets with would feel safe in her presence, and with her experience, that she would offer sound advice and give encouragement and prayer as needed. Pray for her as she leads a Breakout Session, that she would allow the Lord to lead and would be obedient to His direction and voice.

Pray for C to encounter God in such specific ways during her time at the Retreat that she will be left speechless and in awe. Pray she would accept God’s invitation and again and again to be still and to rest, and to find peace for her heart, soul, and mind. Ask for her to believe in new ways, and to recognize that her belief and trust in God is holy.

Sunday, October 26

The Georgia Haven Retreat Ends today. Pray for each woman to encounter God and know His deep love for her as things wind down. Ask for the time of teaching and worship to fill each heart and soul, and for an outpouring of encouragement and hope. Pray for the Connection Crew to continue to be attentive to the voice and leading of the Holy Spirit and to speak and move in obedience, boldness, and love.

Pray for D as she is almost halfway through nine months of training 33 students who traveled to her area of service. Pray she would continue to have a spirit of humility, wisdom, and encouragement as she walks alongside them and offers guidance and words of wisdom. Ask that she would be aware of when she needs to step back and take time to rest and refocus, and allow the Lord to speak truth and love to her.

Pray for R as she provides care for a large group of kids and always seeks to make time to help the older kids with schoolwork and to continue to provide support and encouragement to staff members. Ask that she would have wisdom and understanding as she juggles the many roles, for her to make time for relationships and to give grace to herself as freely as she gives it to those around her.

Pray for S as she and her family have many transitions they’re going through, from finding housing to fundraising to a new online job for her husband. Pray they would be focused on God and trust His timing and provision in all things, especially on the days when no movement seems to be happening. Ask for a continued spirit of gratitude and praise as they trust in the Lord.

Pray for M to make connections at the Retreat with women who live close to where she is located, whether they come together or not. Ask for a sense of community and support among the women she does meet, that she will be encouraged and feel refreshed and hopeful for what lies ahead. Pray she would see how God is providing for her through finances as well as through community and friendship.

Pray for R as she desires to stay focused on the Lord’s leading and know His presence in this time of transition for her and her family, in both their local church as well as in their ministry. Pray for wisdom and discernment as they seek direction and trust the Lord to show them where He is at work and how He will provide. Ask for hearts and ears that would be open and attentive to the Holy Spirit, and for hearts and minds to be obedient to His leading.

Pray for D as she desires a season of refreshment and rest before a new season of caring for her husband after his upcoming surgery. Pray for health physically, mentally, and spiritually, as well as a supportive community to walk with them and offer care and rest as they walk through this season. Ask that she would sit with the Lord on a daily basis and would find peace and rest as she experiences His presence in an intentional way.

Monday, October 27

Pray for the Northern Ireland Connection Crew as they travel today, that there would be safety, peace, and rest on their journey. Pray for smooth travels, no issues or sickness, and for the women as they travel together to begin bonding and creating a spirit of unity.

Pray for D to be able to find deep rest and restoration at this Retreat. Ask that she would encounter Jesus in life-giving and unexpected ways, and would see not only how He is at work in her life, but would be able to see the fruit of the work she has been doing. Pray for peace and trust in God’s timing and provision as she looks for a better living situation for herself and her husband.

Pray for C to experience deep, life-giving rest for her body and soul. Pray she would be filled to overflowing at this Retreat through time spent connecting with other believing women, that she would be encouraged, refreshed, and know how loved she is. Ask for her to freely give to the Lord the exhaustion, discouragement, depression, and stress that she’s been carrying, and to know peace and hope as He speaks truth and love over her.

Pray for A and those ministering alongside her to have wisdom and discernment in knowing how to help those around them in tangible ways, people who have lost their homes and places of safety because of war. Ask for an increase in provision and donations, that they would be able to meet the needs of those around them, sharing the love of Jesus in practical areas. Pray for protection and peace over them as they minister and serve, that they would know Jesus’ presence with them as they walk among those who are in need.

Pray for M J to experience great joy and love from God during this retreat, that she would see how He is meeting her needs as a Mom, Wife, and Daughter of God. Pray that she would be encouraged and challenged in her walk with God, and would know a deep sense of hope and trust as she experiences the things God has set aside for her during this time.

Pray for C to see the goodness of the Lord in her life as she receives rest and renewal at the Retreat. Ask that she would have a deepened faith as she witnesses God’s provision, that she would experience the good things He is inviting her to during her time away. Pray for her as she adjusts to having a changed family dynamic with her two older sons away at college, that she would find new rhythms and would spend her time wisely with those around her.

Tuesday, October 28

Pray for the Georgia Connection Crew as they begin their journey home. Pray for safe travel, rest, and peace of mind as they begin the mental and emotional transition from the days of service back to family, jobs, and the responsibilities waiting for them. Ask that there would be time to reflect on their experiences and for a spirit of encouragement in each woman as she considers the things they witnessed the Lord do.

Pray for S as she is becoming more intentional about growing in faith and in her relationship with God. Pray for protection over her as she allows Him to speak truth into hidden places of her heart, that she would know freedom and love as she entrusts God to heal areas in her heart and life that are painful and out of her control. Ask that as she surrenders herself to God, she will see the beauty of who she is in Him and will know hope and anticipation for the things He has in store for her.

Pray for E and her family as they look ahead to their first 9-month furlough starting in April, that even as they plan and prepare for it, they would not lose sight of the work that is before them in the months leading up to then. Ask for peace and trust as they make plans, especially in the many unknowns there will be.

Pray for S to be intentional about how she is spending her time each day, as she desires a good balance between responsibilities, classes, and making time for family and friends. Ask for her to have wisdom and discernment in keeping healthy boundaries and peace and confidence in saying “yes” and “no” to invitations for help or adding extra things to her plate. Pray she would be wise in spending time with the Lord and allowing Him to lead her in her daily activities.

Pray for N as she recognizes she is on the edge of burnout, and would love to not reach that point. Pray for wisdom and discernment in who she can ask for help in taking things from her, that she would be bold in asking and would trust the Lord to provide the right people, especially for the responsibilities she holds dear to her heart. Ask that God would open her eyes to see the time and space He is providing for her to step back and rest, to enter a season of sabbath, that she would know God’s timing in this area specifically.

Pray for A as her desire for peace in Ukraine is very near to her heart and quite literally on her doorstep. Pray for protection and quiet nights over her city, for a break from drones exploding, and for a stop to the Russian occupation of cities close to hers. Ask for protection over the civilians and neighbors, and for soldier friends who are on the front lines defending those at home. Pray she would see where God is and is at work even in the midst of the ugliness of war and loss.

Wednesday, October 29

Pray for the Northern Ireland Connection Crew as they continue preparations for the Haven Retreat, for the time they spend together will be filled with light and laughter, as well as an awareness of what God may do over the next few days. Pray for deep rest each night and an abundance of energy and health at the start of each day.

Pray for J and her family as they continue to adjust to a new city and find new rhythms, routines, and community. Ask that as they adjust to new everything, they would be excited for the new relationships they’ll build with neighbors and co-workers, and would not be discouraged or frustrated as they learn a new dialect and find their way through this season. Pray they would be sensitive to the needs they each have, and would be clear in their communication, and give grace and kindness abundantly.

Pray for C as she takes her first sabbatical in 20 years. Pray that as she spends time away from ministry, she would gain clarity and insight in her roles within ministry and ministry staff, would find balance and harmony within herself as she enters perimenopause, and would know peace and hope as she launches kids off to college. Ask for the time she spends with the Lord to be sweet and life-giving, to find deeper intimacy with Him, and to be reminded of who she is in the Lord’s eyes.

Pray for J and her family as they continue to adjust to having two kids living in the US, away from them and their country for service. Pray for peace over their hearts and minds as they enter a new season of parenting and trusting God in new ways with their children. Ask for good communication and generous amounts of compassion and kindness within their home as they each adjust to the new rhythms and dynamics of their family.

Pray for D as she learns a new language, for her to give herself grace and know there is a learning curve. Pray for native speakers to form a relationship with her, so that she can learn and practice the language in a comfortable environment, while building friendships with those around her. Ask for her to see where Jesus is at work in her life, specifically as she focuses on a new language, she would know Jesus in the midst of this season.

Thursday, October 30

Pray for Christina as she transitions from leading the Georgia Haven Retreat to leading the Northern Ireland Haven Retreat, that she would be able to set things aside from the past week and focus fully on the women and the retreat at hand. Ask for a renewed sense of energy and hope as she prepares to lead and interact with both the women attending and those volunteering, that she would remain rooted in the Lord and would be attentive to His voice as He leads.

Pray for Kari as she manages the details, schedules, and coordination of the many pieces of this Retreat. Ask for her to be present and focused, not just on the tasks at hand, but on the hearts and needs of the women volunteering. Pray she would be confident in her abilities and the unique gifts God has given her for this time and place. Ask for good sleep and health, and for her to encounter the Lord in beautiful and unexpected, holy ways during her time in Northern Ireland.

Pray for V as she desires to hear God’s voice regularly. Ask that as she learns what His voice sounds like, she will be attentive to when and where He is speaking, and will become more confident in her recognition of His voice. Pray for a covering of protection and safety over her as she leans in more intently to God’s presence and comes to know Him in deeper ways.

Pray for M as she recognizes the stress in her marriage. Pray for her and her husband to lean in towards God first, to reconnect with Him personally before they begin to address the issues and stresses in their marriage. Ask for them to each know God’s presence with them, and to be open, vulnerable, and honest with Him and with one another as they pursue wholeness and healing individually and within their marriage.

Pray for HW and her family as they are in a season of many unexpected transitions and changes within their team. Pray for them as they grieve the recent death of a colleague and learn how to navigate things without this person in their lives and ministry. Ask for grace and wisdom in this time, as they are also feeling the loss of other members of their team who have left; pray that they would see the provision and timeliness of God’s goodness and grace and would be able to rest.

Friday, October 31

The Northern Ireland Haven Retreat begins today! Pray for the Connection Crew as they make final preparations, that they would continue to look forward with expectation for the movement of the Holy Spirit. Ask for a hedge of protection over them as they will boldly proclaim the name of Jesus, His power, and Light over the next few days.

Pray for the workers and folks who will come in contact with the women during this Retreat, that they would experience Jesus and would be drawn towards Him through the kindness, love, and light the women will share. Pray for the rooms and spaces that will be used during this Retreat, that the Spirit of God will be heavy in each place, that there will be light and power and no room for darkness, lies, and anything that is not of God.

Pray for the women attending as they enter the spaces set aside for them, that they would feel the love of Jesus and the safety of His presence as He offers to relieve them of their burdens and shows them places of rest. Ask that their first encounters with the Connection Crew would be filled with light and welcome, that they would know how dearly loved and wanted they are.

Pray for R to experience deep spiritual refreshment and renewal, to know that her walk with God is important and deserves the time and energy that she gives to many other things. Ask that she will learn and set new and healthy boundaries in both her work/ministry and in her personal life with family and friends. Pray that as she does these things, she will see the fruit come from it, and it will be an encouragement to continue in these new habits and routines.
