EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR

Having served overseas for 15 years with Cru (12 yrs in Kazakhstan), Christina understands the value of being nurtured, loved, and encouraged while living abroad. She has managed retreats for women serving overseas in over 15 countries. She is passionate about mobilizing believers for what God is doing overseas. When attaining her Bachelor’s degree in Travel & Tourism and Marketing, she never imagined God’s great plans for her. She loves being a wife to Andy and a mom to 3 MK's Holly, Curran, and Ian.

DIRECTOR OF MENTORING AND RESOURCING

Miriam and her family worked cross-culturally in Japan for 15 years. After returning to the US, she earned an M.A. in Leadership Skills in Human Resources. She has worked in member care since 2000. As a widow and empty-nester, she enjoys traveling, both stateside and overseas, to interact with women who may benefit from her understanding and guidance. Miriam has 4 married sons, 7 grandsons, 1 granddaughter, and 2 great granddaughters.

EXECUTIVE ASSISTANT AND RETREAT MANAGER (Currently on Sabbatical supported through Azmera)

Sarah brings years of global worker experience from her service in Costa Rica, Dominican Republic, and most recently in Ecuador. Sarah's life journey, marked by valleys of challenges, has cultivated in her a profound trust in the Lord. This trust, in turn, has endowed her with a natural ability to inspire hope, facilitating growth and transformation in every person she encounters. Sarah is a proud mom of two teenagers, she finds joy by taking them on adventures.

COMMUNITY COORDINATOR AND SUMMIT ASSISTANT

Liz recently moved to the United States after spending 11 years living, serving, and learning in Costa Rica with her husband and 4 kids. She is excited about walking with women, both abroad and stateside to strengthen, encourage, and provide spaces to process what God is doing in their lives. She loves rainy season, creating, and talking about how great Jesus is.

RETREAT MANAGER AND WEBSITE CONTENT MANAGER

Kari lives in Littleton, CO but can also be found exploring in her camper van with her dog Lucy. She has 3 adult children who are married and 3 grandsons. Kari loves to come alongside women in their faith journey through prayer, encouragement, and Bible study. She has many global worker friends and loves partnering with what God is doing around the world in any way she can. In her free time, she pursues photography and anything crafty.

FINANCE MANAGER

Gary is a retired Software Consultant living in Denver, Colorado with his wife Ali. He first volunteered with Azmera in 2022 at the Romania Retreat and continues helping Azmera with donations and financial software. Gary attends Park Church in Denver and is active in his small group, especially as a mentor to young married couples.

DIRECTOR OF PRAYER

Suzanna lived overseas with her family as an MK/TCK. She loves to travel and meet new people, read, and cook/bake for those around her. Her heart's desire is for the Kingdom of God to come and be known on earth. Suzanna loves prayer, it's one of her favorite things; she is astounded that God continues to provide opportunities for her to minister and love through prayer, both at home and overseas. Suzanna lives in Colorado and is so blessed to have her family nearby.

RETREAT MANAGER

Judy enjoys using her skills to listen and provide encouragement to women in the ministry field as they fulfill their ministry. She is finishing up obtaining a Bachelor's Degree in Leadership and Ministry. She lives in Vancouver, Washington with a wonderful dog named Buddy.

RETREAT MANAGER

Elise loves Jesus and delights in encouraging women toward a passionate walk with Christ. Calling Dallas, TX, home, she and her husband Jeff are blessed with three children, a daughter-in-law, and a new grandson, Brave. After 23 years as a professional pilot and 21 years of homeschooling, she recently completed her master's degree in International Relations before resuming her passion for aviation where she enjoys flying the 767. Elise cherishes her early mornings on her front porch where she delights in meeting with Jesus.

RETREAT MANAGER

Patti is a Registered Nurse and lives in the beautiful Pacific Northwest in Corvallis, Oregon. She has been on many Azmera Haven retreats so she is excited to be able to support and encourage the women who will come for this time of refreshment. Patti loves working with the youth at her church and spending time with her family and friends, as well as outdoors in God's amazing creation.
