Azmera ISRAEL 2026 | Prayer Calendar (November 7 - November 11)

Thank you for continuing to pray for our beloved sisters even though our Greece and Israel Haven Retreats have concluded! I hope you are blessed and encouraged this week as you spend time with the Lord.

Saturday, November 7

Pray for D as she prepares for the birth of her third child within the next few weeks, that as she prepares and plans for this new season, she would also make time for rest and connection with the Lord and with her family. Pray for a safe birth and adjustment as they transition to a family of five. Ask for grace, blessings, and provision.

Pray for S as she looks to overcome the PTSD she is experiencing because of the war in Israel. Ask for God’s healing and protection over her as she works to move forward and experience peace and rest at deep soul and mental levels. Pray for her to be reminded of who she is in Christ, that her identity in Him would be the shadow that shades everything else in her life, for her to know the light and goodness of who she is and has been created to be.

Pray for A as she continues to recover from a heart attack and adjust to a new position/ministry. Pray for continued healing over her body and for the extra time she now has on her hands due to the change of ministry. Ask for her to be wise with how she spends her time, especially as she is desiring a deeper walk and connection with the Lord, for her to be proactive and bold in seeking Him.

Pray for A as she looks for more volunteers to help with the centers she helps with in two different cities, that she would be bold in asking for help and in looking outside the usual places she asks for help from. Ask for patience and trust as she waits, and for her to see how God is providing the time, resources, and stamina to press on.

Pray for E and her husband as they continue to work towards healing after her husband had a mental breakdown after moving to a new country of service. Pray for her to have wisdom and discernment as she continues to navigate new people, places, and ministry while still supporting and coming alongside her husband. Ask for a community to surround them with encouragement, resources, and the presence of God in tangible and practical ways.

Pray for J and her ministry to women, especially as they see a great number of women receive the gospel but do not see much follow-up. Ask for wisdom as she leads the women, both the volunteers and those they minister to, for her to know how to meet the women where they are and to learn how to disciple so that women will continue to walk with Jesus. Pray for rest, strength, and focus as she looks forward to the things yet to come.

Sunday, November 8

Pray for H and her family to continue to connect with one another in healthy ways, especially after spending a prolonged time together for a family vacation recently. Pray for protection over their family and marriage, that there would be good communication, lots of grace, patience, and laughter within their home. Ask for wisdom and discernment as they raise their children and come alongside those in need within their community.

Pray for N as she walks in the truth of who she is in Christ, as she longs to make the knowledge personal and strong at a heart and not just head level. Ask that as she continues to know His voice speaking truth and life to her, she would allow His words to change how she sees herself and walks through life, believing the words He says to her. Pray for a new level of confidence and boldness to love and share Jesus with those around her, as she is transformed and learns to reflect His image in everyday situations and relationships.

Pray for H and her relationship with her adult children, both of whom are living away from her in the US. Pray they would have community and friendships that encourage them and point them towards Jesus, for their hearts to be soft and their ears and eyes opened to the truth and goodness of the gospel. Ask for H to have a deep faith and trust in God for her children, and for herself as she walks with Him and sees the goodness of who He is all around her.

Pray for A as she is feeling the weight and heaviness of the past few years of the war in Ukraine, along with the weight of the responsibility of ministry and personal challenges and struggles in the midst of everything else. Ask for her to take hold of the things she heard and learned at the haven retreat to make time and space for herself to rest and refresh on a regular basis. Pray for wisdom in using the resources at hand so that she will walk in light and renewal consistently.

Pray for T as she struggles with the war in Israel and the physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual toll it is taking on her. Ask for wisdom and guidance as she desires to make plans, but it’s challenging to do with things so uncertain around her, for her to trust God to make decisions and be flexible as things shift and change. Pray for rest, hope, and an awareness of God at work in and around her.

Pray for A and her desire for clarity in her purpose and calling in Israel. Pray she would make time to be still and listen to the Lord’s voice, and to trust and walk in obedience as He speaks and leads her. Ask for her to be aware of open and closed doors around her, that she would walk in confidence and with peace in the Lord’s presence with her.

Monday, November 9

Pray for S to experience continual healing, energy, and strength physically for the ministry she is involved with and for the people she serves. Ask for a tender and open heart to follow the Lord’s leading, and for a new sensitivity to the Holy Spirit’s voice. Pray for her to be bold and courageous in how she loves those around her and shares the goodness of Jesus with friends, neighbors, and those she encounters on a regular basis.

Pray for F and her desire for deep refreshment for body, heart, and soul. Pray that the time she spent at the haven retreat will have set in motion new habits and practices for her to be refreshed and rested on a regular basis, that she will be more intentional about how and where she is spending her time. Ask for her to walk in truth and light and to love others as she herself is fully and wholly loved.

Pray for M as she raises her two boys, especially with the challenges and “hard” she’s experienced recently. Ask for an outpouring of grace, patience, compassion, and kindness over her, that she in turn would be able to give those things freely to her family. Pray for wisdom in her parenting, and for support for her outside of her home to encourage her and speak words of life and wisdom to her.

Pray for L and the relationships she has with women she is discipling. Pray for wisdom, discernment, and the guidance of the Holy Spirit as she spends time with these women, especially for those in hard situations and relationships who don’t yet know the Lord. Ask for her to be sensitive to the voice and leading of the Lord as she speaks words of truth and counsel, that the words will fall on hearts and ears that will be soft and open to the good things that are in store for them.

Pray for A and the ministry she is a part of, that she would walk in joy and hope each day and bring life and encouragement to those around her. Ask for God’s blessing and protection over this ministry and all those who are serving and being served.

Pray for Y as she desires to use theater and drama in ministry and evangelism. Pray for wisdom, clarity, and focus as she seeks the Lord’s direction and timing in this area, that she would be bold in her asking and patient in her waiting. Ask that as she waits for the right time and place, she would hold on to her enthusiasm as she trusts the Lord and would be creating a community of people to train and move forward with her.

Tuesday, November 10

Pray for T and the season of transition she is in. Ask for clarity and peace as she follows the Lord’s leading, for a deeper level of trust and faith as He shows her the path He has in store for her.

Pray for L as she desires to fully trust God in every aspect of her life. Pray for her to be intentional about bringing things to the Lord and allowing Him to show her areas that need pruning, extra attention, or can be released, that as she does so, she would experience a deeper trust and faith. Ask that as she walks with God into new areas of trust, she would be able to see growth and the fruit of her obedience to Him.

Pray for L and her need for full-time, full-coverage health insurance. Ask for trust and an awareness of God’s provision as she asks for practical things, that she would see His faithfulness and know His goodness in real time. Pray for peace and joy as she walks with the Lord.

Pray for V and her role within the ministry she is involved with, that she would extend grace and compassion to those she works with and those she serves. Pray for her as she learns different computers and computer systems, for her to retain the things she’s learning and be able to quickly apply them and to gain confidence as she does so. Ask that she would have a season of deeper joy and gratitude than she’s known before as she chooses to walk daily with the Lord and allow Him to lead her as she goes.

Pray for L as she carries a heavy weight of responsibilities on her mission field, for her to be confident in setting healthy boundaries and learning to say a healthy “no.” Ask that as she creates new routines and habits for herself, she would do so with intention to care for herself and to make rest a regular part of her life. Pray she would be bold in asking for help when she feels overwhelmed, overworked, and tired, and for those who work alongside her to be willing to step in and help as they are asked and as they observe the need to do so.

Pray for M as she is a new student at the age of 54, for the challenges she will face that come with this new setting, along with being hearing impaired and the challenges that brings with different languages and accents. Pray for focus as she studies and for clarity of thought and hearing, especially in the classroom settings. Ask for good relationships to be formed with other students, and for her to experience the love and grace of Jesus as she moves through this new season.

Wednesday, November 11

Pray for L to experience complete healing and relief from the pain in her legs caused by muscle problems, and for her medical team to have wisdom and knowledge in offering treatment and solutions. Ask for her to have wisdom and discernment as she pursues healing from stress and trauma she has experienced, that she would seek counseling and help to give her the tools, resources, and confidence to begin feeling safe to move out of the flight or fight mode she has been stuck in. Pray for her to experience God’s grace and goodness in her life, even when things seem dark and she feels stuck, and that she would walk in faith and trust.

Pray for K and the relationships she has with those she serves alongside, for there to be a deepening of friendship among this team as they walk through this season of life together. Pray for her as she desires to live more authentically and as her true self, that as she seeks these things she would listen to the truth of who she is spoken from those around her and from the Lord, and would claim those truths and believe them with all her heart. Ask that as she begins to live more authentically, she would be bold in saying “no” in healthy ways and would know peace, joy, and hope as she does so.

Pray for the Azmera Board of Directors as they look ahead and begin planning for what comes next. Pray they would make time to sit and be still together in the Lord’s presence, to give Him time and space to move and speak as He desires. Ask for their hearts and minds to be open and willing to follow as He leads, that they would walk in obedience in unity and faith.

Pray for the Haven Retreats and activities that will be hosted by Azmera in 2027, that God would be moving and working in the lives, timelines, finances, and hearts of all the women He will bring together, both those who will serve and those who will attend. Pray for the Care Crews that will come together to serve, that these women would choose to walk in faith and trust as the Lord calls them, for there to be faith and peace to serve however He leads. Pray for the women who will attend, for the things they will experience and encounter in the time between now and when the retreats take place, that their hearts and minds will be open and ready to hear and receive all that God is holding in store for them.

Lastly, as always - thank you! Your time and the prayers you pray on behalf of this ministry are invaluable, and our appreciation for you is hard to put into words, but know that each one of you is dearly treasured, and I know these retreats would not be what they are without your partnership through prayer. So, as we move into a time of rest and also a busy holiday season,

May you encounter the gentleness and goodness of Jesus in unexpected, beautiful, and holy ways. May you know His presence with and for you in the good moments and in the hard ones too. May you experience the brightness of His face as He looks to you and pours out the love and adoration He has for you. May you know the baby in the manger to be Truth and Light and Love and Hope in the darkest of nights and in the deepest, secret, and sacred places of your heart. May you know Emmanuel - God with you, in bigger, more extravagant ways than you’ve known before. And finally, may peace be upon you.

 - suzanna
