Hi Friends!
We’ve finished our time in Israel and Greece, but we continue to pray for the women who attended and volunteered. Please pray as the Lord leads you, and know that His timing is always just right in all things. May you be encouraged and drawn towards Him in new and wonderful ways this week. (Note: Our prayer calendar will be in two parts this week.)
Wednesday, November 4
Pray for the Israel Care Crew as they begin their trip back home, for them to have safe travels, smooth connections, and as much rest as they can on the long journey. Pray for good health and good conversations as they continue to process and debrief with one another their time in Israel. Ask for their hearts and minds to begin shifting from a ministry and service mindset back to the things they left behind - jobs, families, and the responsibilities that await them. Pray for each of them to continue to experience Jesus and encounter Him in holy and good ways as they make their way back home.
Pray for K and her realization of her need for physical and mental rest. Ask that as she gets back into her routine after being at the haven retreat, she would still feel rested and rejuvenated from the time spent with the other women and with the Lord.
Pray for C as she feels burned out and is in need of consistent volunteers to come alongside her and the ministry she runs. Pray for financial support as well as physical support in the day-to-day, so that she can step back to rest and refresh her heart and mind on a regular basis. Ask that she would be intentional about asking for help and in taking time for herself to allow the Lord to give her the rest, strength, and motivation to keep going well.
Pray for L and the challenges she faces living and serving in Ukraine alongside her Ukrainian husband, who is also in the military. Ask for grace and protection over their marriage and over each of them physically as she deals with various health issues and needs consistent times of rest and renewal. Pray for a community of good women to come alongside her to encourage her and walk with her in this season, as she experiences loneliness and the need for deeper connection with those around her.
Pray for P and the new student ministry she has helped start, that she would continue to ask and trust the Lord to provide the resources and finances needed to maintain and grow this ministry. Pray for wisdom and discernment as they walk in faith and reach out to the community around them, for them to be sensitive and willing to listen to and follow the Holy Spirit’s leading. Ask that they would see the fruit of the work of their hands, they would be encouraged in their faith and would continue to follow boldly as the Lord leads.
Pray for I as she leads Sudanese Sign Language Bible translation and works with the community in their healing and transformation journey, that she would be present and focused on the people and tasks in front of her in turn. Ask that she would be compassionate and have a depth of understanding and wisdom as she works and comes alongside those in need.
Thursday, November 5
Pray for S as she desires spiritual renewal, that she would be intentional about making time to spend with the Lord on a regular basis and to seek Him in new ways that may stretch and challenge her. Pray that as she walks in a new season of faith and spirituality, her trust and confidence in the Lord and in herself would grow and that she would see fruit from her walk with God. Ask also that as she seeks God, she would have a new hope and would see it fulfilled in beautiful ways in God’s perfect timing.
Pray for L as she ministers to the women who are mothers in her community, that she would have the wisdom and sensitivity to know how to meet them where they are in tangible and practical ways. Ask for a level of understanding and compassion that goes beyond herself as she makes time and space for those who do not yet know the Lord. Pray for a spirit of protection and rest over her.
Pray for LK as she continues to adjust to being in full-time ministry after 26 years as a music teacher. Pray that as she transitions to different routines, expectations, and responsibilities, she would give herself grace and time to figure out what works best and what can be revisited later. Ask for her to see how God is using her and how He is blessing the work of her hands as she walks in obedience and faith.
Pray for M as she, her husband, and daughter serve the Lord together. Pray for a spirit of unity and connection in their family and marriage as they minister to and love those around them, that they would be gracious and compassionate with one another. Ask for God to bless their ministry, family, and the season they are in.
Pray for A and her desire for her oldest son E to come to know the Lord and to walk with him, and for God to bless him with a good wife and good things. Ask for protection for her younger son J as he prepares to enter his high school years, for him to make good choices with friends and to continue to walk with the Lord. Pray for her to have wisdom, discernment, and compassion as she parents her boys and trusts them to the Lord.
Pray for S to be acutely aware of God’s protection and presence with her, especially against spiritual attacks from the darkness that appear in many forms and times, and that she would walk boldly in trust and with the power of the Holy Spirit. Pray for wisdom and grace in her relationships with family, friends, neighbors, and those she works with, for her to love in big and small ways and to know she reflects the love of Jesus wherever she goes. Ask for her to see the fruit of the work of the Church around her.
Friday, November 6
Pray for R and her 15-year-old daughter as they walk through this school year together, with the hardships and challenges that high schoolers face. Ask for her to have wisdom and understanding as she parents her daughter, for her to be compassionate and gracious in encouraging her daughter and teaching her to set healthy boundaries. Pray for her daughter to find a healthy, safe group of friends to walk through High School with.
Pray for J and her desire to love those around her, to not let language differences be a barrier to those she is serving. Pray that she would be given a supernatural gifting for hearing, understanding, and speaking the language of those she ministers to. Ask for a heart that would be soft and open to the Lord’s leading, that she would live in a posture of surrender, obedience, and delight in who God is.
Pray for D to experience healing in her hip, for pain, discomfort, and anything that is out of alignment to be healed and made whole. Ask for a heart that sees God in and around her and knows His goodness and provision as she walks in obedience and faith. Pray that the time she spent at the haven retreat and the things she learned and experienced would be instrumental in how she lives and ministers to those in her sphere of influence.
Pray for E and her family as they trust God to provide for their financial needs as they make things work month-to-month. Pray for continued faith as they walk the path they trust God has set before them, and get to see Him at work in and through them in beautiful and unexpected ways. Ask for hope and joy as they see His faithfulness and goodness to them throughout the years, through friendships, grace, and provision.
Pray for D as she desires to focus on the Lord and hear His voice in her heart, ears, and life. Ask for the time she spent at the haven retreat to be life-giving in ways she will carry with her, as she walks deeper with the Lord and experiences His voice and leading in her life in new, delicate, and holy ways. Pray for protection over her as she lives in a new boldness and confidence of her faith and trust in God.
Pray for M to have renewed focus and a depth of wisdom and discernment as she focuses on her ministry and all the things God has set before her. Pray that she would make time to sit with the Lord, still her heart and mind, and allow the Holy Spirit to speak to her the words of life, direction, and peace that she needs. Ask that those times would become her lifeline, and that she would have a new level of trust and confidence in His leading as she comes to know His voice in ways she has never known before.
Pray for H as she ministers to young adults weekly, for her desire for them to know and walk with the Lord and to experience God’s grace poured upon them. Ask for her to have wisdom and understanding as she walks with these younger people, to come alongside them and offer wise counsel, a listening ear, and tangible ways to love them and meet their needs. Pray for her daughter and son-in-law to have hearts of unity and service as they work together to walk in the calling God has placed on their lives.
