We are wrapping up our Azmera GREECE Haven Retreat and heading to Israel this week! We would love to have you join us in prayer for the women volunteering and attending. Please pray as the Lord leads you, and may you be encouraged as you spend time with Him this week.
Wednesday, October 28
Pray for the Care Crew as they rest and begin preparations for the Azmera ISRAEL Haven Retreat, for there to be a sense of unity and camaraderie among this group of women. Ask for protection and peace over them as they interact with one another and look forward to what the next few days will bring.
Pray for C and her relationship with her sister-in-law, for her to allow room for grace and compassion for both herself and her sister-in-law. Pray for clear communication and a new depth of understanding and kindness between them, that there would be opportunity for a new beginning. Ask for her to be bold in coming to the Lord with her requests and the things that are heavy on her heart, that she will see and know His goodness and would allow that knowledge to fill her with hope and confidence for what is yet to come.
Pray for A as she gets back into the routines and rhythms she left behind to attend the retreat. Ask that she would continue to be encouraged, fulfilled and be hopeful from the things she learned and experienced while she was away. Pray for her to walk in faith in new ways as she trusts God to lead and protect her in this season of life.
Pray for K as she continues to see the work of God all around her and to know His goodness in deep and true ways. Pray she would continue to trust Him with her daughter’s heart and faith, and know Him to be kind and compassionate in ways she may never know. Ask that as she looks for continued change and movement forward, that she would be patient to wait on the Lord and to trust His good and perfect timing in her life and ministry.
Pray for P and her family as they prepare to leave their country of service and the people and ministry they know. Ask for wisdom and discernment in how they’re spending the last of their time, as well as who they are spending it with - that it would be full of life and encouragement for all involved. Pray for trust and faith as they follow where God leads, for there to be confidence and peace as He clears the way before them for the things He has yet in store.
Thursday, October 29
Pray for G to know God’s goodness and faithfulness in His provision with finances and the construction on her home, that she would begin experiencing a deeper faith and trust as she sees Him at work in her life. Pray for her to be excited and hopeful about the things in her future, for her to know God’s presence with her in all ways.
Pray for O to have a renewed focus and retention of the language she is learning, for her to seek opportunity to practice what she is learning in practical ways and to see where God is at work in those situations. Ask that as she also practices abiding in Him, she would have a deeper and clearer understanding of what that looks like for her on a regular basis, and to know the fruit of her time spent with Him. Pray for protection over her as she ministers to and loves those around her in practical ways.
Pray for S and her family as they continue to adjust to the new school their children are in, for there to be a continued space of grace and kindness within their home as their children transition at their own pace and in different ways. Pray for wisdom and knowledge in their parenting, for there to be an abundance of grace, laughter, and love as they walk through this season together. Ask for more staff to join them as they minister to those living as displaced people in their area of service.
Pray for J and her family as they look towards the end of a very hard season in their lives and ministry, as they have struggled together to get back into healthy routines in their country of service after having been in the US for a time. Ask for wisdom and discernment in the decisions they make, that they would trust and follow the Lord’s voice and leading, especially when it may not look as expected. Pray for an increase of peace, safety, and joy in their home, family, and marriage.
Pray for A and those she lives with as they are under literal attack in their city, as well as spiritual attack that comes with the physical. Pray for protection and peace over her and her friends, neighbors, and community, that she would have wisdom and insight in how best to come alongside those around her with practicality and the love of Jesus. Ask for the presence of Jesus to be strong and powerful in this area, for those there to encounter Him and to know His love and goodness even in the midst of the sorrow and suffering all around them.
Friday, October 30
The Azmera ISRAEL Haven Retreat begins today! Pray for the Care Crew as they put final touches on everything and as they wait for the women attending to arrive. Ask for a spirit of hope and expectation to weave itself through this group of women, and for them to be united in heart and prayer as they wait for what the Lord will do.
Pray that as the women arrive, they will enter a space of rest, safety, and love as they step over the threshold, for them to experience the presence of the Lord in heavy and holy ways throughout their first evening together. Pray for the Holy Spirit to be given the space and room to move in power, in truth, in boldness, and love to meet with the women in specific and significant ways that will set the tone for the next three days to come.
Pray for Christina as she transitions from leading the Azmera GREECE Haven Retreat to leading the Azmera ISRAEL Haven Retreat, that she would be focused and present on the women before her and would trust the Lord to hold in His care the ones she left behind. Pray for rest, good health, and a heart that would be intent on the Lord and His way and leading.
Pray for Judy in her role as Retreat Specialist, that as she oversees the details, organization, and main schedules, she would move and speak with grace, confidence, and compassion. Pray for her to rest well and be energized and focused for each day, and for her to encounter the Lord in deep and significant ways in the midst of her service.
Pray for Dinah as she teaches and leads the women through the words the Lord gives her. Ask that she would be sensitive and open to following the Lord’s voice and leading during this retreat. Pray for boldness in her words and in her heart as she walks with God and allows Him to lead. Pray for Carol as she leads the women in worship over the four days of the haven retreat. Pray for her heart, mind, and soul to be focused on the Lord and to know deep joy and peace as she praises Him. Ask for protection over her as she leads the women into holy spaces where the Lord is waiting to meet each of the women present.

Ask for the Care Crew to continue to be united in thought and focus, to support and encourage one another as needed. Pray for them to be present and willing to follow the Lord’s leading today, especially when it might not look as expected.
Pray for the women attending as they gather to listen, worship, share, and pray with one another, for friendships to form as truths and hardships are shared and the presence of Jesus sits with them. Pray for grace to receive and to share openly and honestly throughout the day in the various situations and conversations that arise.
Pray for Nhu, Nan, and Gi Gi as they spend one-on-one time with women who come to them for counseling. Pray for protection over the spaces they use and the words they speak, that the Lord will be present in tangible and powerful ways and will cover each woman with truth, goodness, grace, and love. Ask that as these women counsel, they will be sensitive to the voice of the Holy Spirit and will be bold to speak and stay silent as He leads.

Pray for Andi and Tammy as they facilitate breakout sessions and interact with the women who attend. Pray they would be sensitive to the needs of the women present, and would be willing to step out of their comfort zones as the Lord leads, trusting Him to move in goodness and grace.
Sunday, November 1
It’s the second full day of the Azmera ISRAEL Haven Retreat! Pray for a continued spirit of sensitivity and listening to the Lord’s voice, for opportunities to trust the Lord in new ways as they allow Him to lead and speak to them in new ways.
Pray for the women attending as they continue to share with one another and with the Care Crew, to be open and honest and to allow for moments of rest and quiet with the Lord alone. Ask that as God meets each woman where and how she needs Him, for them to all be aware of His voice and goodness, and for new levels of belief to emerge as He speaks words of life, truth, and love.
Pray for Dana, Christine, Cheryl, Janelle, and Dalia as they serve through giving pedicures, listening to stories, and praying for the women as the Holy Spirit leads. Pray they would be united in focus and spirit in the time they spend with one another and with the women attending, that they would see God at work and would be encouraged and in awe of who He is and how He reveals Himself. Pray for laughter, hope, and delight for this group of women.
Pray for M as she begins to serve and minister to those around her on her own, apart from her family that is also in ministry. Ask that she would have a new walk with the Lord as she follows Him in new ways and learns to know and trust His voice as He speaks to her alone. Pray for her to walk in the encouragement, blessing, and holy challenges she experienced at the haven retreat.
Pray for M and the desire she has for her husband and daughter to walk with the Lord, to love Him radically and passionately. Pray she would be gentle and sensitive in her relationships with them, that she would love them as Jesus loves them, and would be patient and kind as they walk at their own pace. Ask for her to know God deeper and more intimately as she trusts His goodness and timing in her life and in the lives of those she loves the most.
Pray for F as she focuses on raising support while maintaining the busyness of life and ministry and the stress that comes along with those things. Ask that as she works hard and tries to stay focused and present, she would allow space for truth and hard feelings and moments to happen, knowing that God is with her and for her and that He has created all of the feelings she feels and loves her so much. Pray she would be intentional about making time for herself to rest and do the things she loves that bring her joy.
Monday, November 2
Today is the final day of the Azmera ISRAEL Haven Retreat. Pray for all the women gathered as they spend one last morning together, for their time of learning, worshipping, and praying together to be full of life, for the presence of Jesus to be heavy in the rooms they gather in, and for there to be a sense of delight and hope as they prepare to transition out of retreat mode back into the rhythms of life, ministry, and jobs. Pray for the Care Crew as they facilitate one last morning, and then have some downtime to rest and begin processing the past four days. Pray for sensitivity to one another and for space to find renewal in God’s presence. Ask for grace, kindness, and compassion to surround them.
Pray for B as she seeks God’s guidance, wisdom, and provision, especially in her family and ministry. Pray for her to see the fruit of her work, of her prayers being answered, and of God’s presence in her life in the small ways and big.
Pray for L as she continues to trust God with healing, peace, and the ability to look and move forward after the trauma she has experienced. Pray she would return to her normal life filled with hope and a plan to rest and be in God’s presence intentionally on a regular basis. Ask for God’s protection over her heart, mind, soul, and strength as she pursues healing and a healthy life.
Pray for D as she is entering a new and very busy season with two jobs, finishing a degree, and learning to rest after a very hard season. Ask that the things she experienced, learned, and was encouraged in at the haven retreat will be a foundation for how she walks through this new season, for her to be intentional and willing to follow through on regular times of rest and renewal with the Lord. Pray for her to know God’s presence, provision, and protection over her as she moves about her days.
Pray for K as her time on the field has ended and she is seeking the Lord’s direction in what to do next. Pray for her to make time to be still and listen to His voice, to trust Him as He leads her and shows her the beautiful things He already has in place for her. Ask that this new season would fill her with hope, abundant life, and the reminder of who she is in God and of all the good things He has for her.
Tuesday, November 3
Pray for A as they trust God’s timing and provision in building their team, as their only team member decided not to return to their field. Ask for them to be patient as they wait on the Lord and to be able to see the opportunities He is offering them in both new ministry and in ways to rest and allow Him to work in His way and timing. Pray for the team members yet to come, for them to be walking closely with the Lord and following His leading as He provides and clears the way for them.
Pray for M and her husband as they are starting fresh in a new city with new neighbors, responsibilities, and the stress that those things bring, while continuing their language study and ministering in new ways. Pray that as she knows she is tired and needs rest, she would be intentional about making time to step away so that she can rest, and that she would trust that God will still work even when she isn’t as hands-on as she thinks she needs to be. Ask for her to know peace as she creates new habits and routines, and sees God with her and all around her as she walks in new areas of faith with Him.

Ask for protection for their marriage, family, and ministry as they move in new directions.
Pray for L as she makes decisions about her ministry and time served, knowing she needs to take a sabbatical and enter a season of rest. Ask for peace and trust as she makes these decisions, that she would know God with her and for her, and in that knowing would be excited for what He has in store for her. Pray that the season of rest will be life-giving and full in unexpected, life-changing ways.
Pray for H as she makes decisions about the future and the direction she needs to take. Pray that as she spends time with the Lord seeking His voice and guidance, she would feel herself resting into Him and His presence and goodness, and would sense her mindset soften and become more positive as a result of spending time with Him. Ask for a new perspective and hope for herself, her future, and the things she is holding close to her heart.
