    SPEAKER

    Carey is passionate about listening well to the Shepherd’s voice and pouring her life into whomever God places in her path. She is dedicated to learning God’s Word by heart and longs that His voice be the loudest voice in her everyday life. Working alongside women who serve the King is a joy of hers. She desires to create space, thought, and encouragement for women to learn how to listen well to the Lover of Our Souls. She has served with CRU internationally alongside her husband in Chile, and they have four children. 

  • Joy Beless

    WORSHIP LEADER

    Joy is a worshipper of God and a lover of people. After living overseas and launching four children, Joy started a worship ministry, The Invitation Project, with live worship events and lyric videos for personal and small group worship. As a spiritual director, she encourages others in their spiritual journey by meeting with individuals and hosting solitude retreats through her ministry, B-Still Ministries, a partner with Mosaic Formation. Currently living in the Dallas area with her husband, Roger – she loves being JoJo to eleven grandchildren and leading chapel at a homeless shelter for women and children. 

  • Beth Massie

    RETREAT SPECIALIST

    Beth and her husband, Tim, are originally from Ohio, and they have three adult daughters. They spent two years living in Switzerland, where she helped start an AWANAs program. They now live in Erie, Colorado, where she just retired from a law firm, and is ready to see what God has in store for her domestically and globally. She enjoys spending time with other women in Bible study, prayer, and encouraging other ladies in their walk with Jesus. 

  • Helen Gabbard

    Born and raised in Colorado, Helen currently lives in Erie with her husband, twin daughters, and mother. She serves on her church's worship team, playing cello, and is the welcome coordinator for women’s bible study. Helen is a graphic designer, website and social media manager, and has a background in medical sales and marketing. Her hobbies include quilting, scrapbooking, and reading. 

  • Stacey Jaramillo

    Stacey is from Boulder, Colorado. She and her husband have three children. Stacey is a Licensed Cosmetologist and has owned her own salon, Divine Creations in Erie, Colorado. She also served as a Group Leader for Bible Study Fellowship and has enjoyed being a part of her church’s Vacation Bible School. Stacey enjoys arts and crafts, and her hobbies include working on puzzles with her husband, reading, journaling, and coloring. 

  • Melanie Moxness

    Melanie grew up as an MK walking the jungle paths of Papua, Indonesia, a mango in one hand and a papaya in the other. She has a passion for asking the question, "What does the Gospel mean for me today?" and jumping in with God where He is at work in people's hearts. She currently calls Colorado home base, walking the streets of a different kind of "cement jungle" as she serves on a college campus with international students. 

  • Annette Nicholl

    Annette served with CRU for 20 years, 8 Years in Irkutsk, Russia. Currently, she and her husband, Spencer, serve in Member Care for Samaritans Purse and direct a small ministry in Ohio City, Colorado called Big Horn Ministries. They offer a place in their remote Colorado location for respite and rest for those who are in crisis, burned out, or just need a break. Her passion is to help women get back to a listening place with the Lord. She has three grown children: Andrew, Kayla, and Kate, plus a new granddaughter.

  • Joanna Stith

    Joanna was born in the Philippines but grew up moving frequently in a military family. She currently lives in Erie, Colorado and has 3 grown children. Joanna is a speech-language pathologist, specializing in babies and young children who are deaf or hard of hearing. Her faith has grown through short-term trips to the Dominican Republic and being involved with the teens and women’s Bible study at church. Joanna enjoys running, biking, hiking, swimming, and being in nature.
