Day 2 Preparing Our Hands and Hearts

Care Crew working together to prepare welcome bags and haven retreat gifts.

As our Azmera GREECE care crew continues preparing for the arrival of the global workers on Thursday, the days are filled with training, prayer, preparation, and meaningful connections. But beyond organizing materials and learning our roles, God is also preparing the hearts of those who have come to serve.

Today, care crew member Adana Cengeri shares a glimpse into the team's preparations and a little unexpected charm of Greece!

Reflections from Adana Cengeri

Another beautiful day in Greece! Our care crew spent the day training, preparing materials, and getting ready to welcome the global workers arriving on Thursday.

One of the greatest gifts has been hearing the stories of the women serving on this team. Between decades of missionary care, years of cross-cultural ministry, and experiences spanning numerous countries, the collective wisdom in this room is incredible! Each story is a beautiful reminder of God's faithfulness and the many ways He prepares us to serve.

We want to be ready—not just with prepared materials, but with hearts surrendered to Jesus and hands ready to serve.

Thank you for being part of this journey. You may be across the ocean, but you are here with us in prayer. 🌍💛

Many hands, joyful hearts, and a shared purpose—creating special touches to remind each global worker that she is seen, valued, and loved.

A Little Greek Charm 🐈

Adana also shared a fun observation about Greece:

Unrelated fun fact... Greece is a haven for cats. They are everywhere! They roam the streets, wander into hotels and cafés, and seem to be around every corner. You'll find them happily lounging everywhere. Many are community cats, lovingly fed by local shop owners. They're healthy, happy, and generally very friendly!

Even the cats seem to have mastered the art of rest in Greece! A sweet reminder to slow down and enjoy God's beautiful creation.

As our care crew prepares to welcome the women, we invite you to pray with us. Pray that every detail comes together, that our volunteers remain sensitive to the Holy Spirit, and that each global worker arrives ready to experience the rest, encouragement, and love Jesus has prepared for her.

Behind every welcome bag and daily gift are loving hands, thoughtful details, and prayers for the women who will soon receive them.
