Azmera KENYA Haven Retreat 2022 | Prayer Calendar (February 18)

Pray for the first of the Haven Retreat, that there would be a spirit of hope and excitement for what lies in store as the women gather and continue to make connections and enter into friendships. Pray for the morning session to be encouraging, refreshing, and eye-opening; ask for the times of discussion to be holy and deeply restorative and healing. Pray for the afternoon activities to be filled with fun, laughter, truth and for the spaces to be filled with the presence of Jesus.

Pray for the Connection Crew to be filled with energy and focus, for them to be present to the needs of the women they interact with, and for each one to be filled with the power of the Holy Spirit through touch, with boldness of words of truth, and for anything that is not of the Lord to be stopped in the name of Jesus.

Pray for M to be able to rest in the knowledge that God sees her and has a plan for her, even as things don’t go as she expects and there are interruptions all around her. Pray that she would choose to root herself in the Lord and trust Him to orchestrate situations and relationships for her good and for His glory. Ask that she would see His goodness all around her, and would be content to bask in His presence and know that He delights in her.

Pray for J and her family as they look ahead to her twins’ graduation at the end of this year, that there would be excitement and joy as they prepare for the end of one season and the beginning of a new one. Ask for provision for scholarships and funds for college, and for wisdom and discernment as they look for God’s guidance in the next steps. Pray for protection over her family and for peace as they prepare for the transitions and adjustments that are to come.
