Our entire team has officially assembled upon the beautiful town of Sihanoukville. We have spent the past two days in intensive training in preparation for this upcoming retreat and to prepare our hearts to welcome our beloved attendees.
Training consists of prayer, copious amounts of details, gifts to assemble, stories to be shared, and laughter to resonate throughout the room. It includes bonding and the strengthening of our team through various activities. It includes meals in town to immerse ourselves in the culture to gain insight into the world these women are serving within. Training consists of a fun outing to learn about a local ministry, to invest personally, and to be able to pray over them and support them in the work that they are doing.
We are here. We are ready. We are excited. And, we are equipped!
“May the God of peace, who through the blood of the eternal covenant brought back from the dead our Lord Jesus, that great Shepherd of the sheep, equip you with everything good for doing his will, and may He work in us what is pleasing to Him, through Jesus Christ, to whom be glory for ever and ever. Amen.” – Hebrews 13:20-21
