Judyann Gallego-Leonard

My heart, work and ministry is focused on encouraging "wounded healers". Besides my current counseling of women global workers, I am blessed to be a therapist co-leading intensive week long retreats for pastors, chaplains and missionaries at the Shepherds's Canyon Retreat center in Arizona. My husband and I also sub with Life Impact Ministries in Oasis houses around the world giving rest and de-briefing to missionaries and pastors. When at home I am an adjunct professor at William Jessup University teaching those entering the field of psychology. I have a private practice and enjoy my work as a critical incident specialist giving support after a work crisis. In my personal life my sweet husband Mark and my amazing children and grandchildren continue to bring joy to me every single day.

Anita Ohm

It has been my privilege to observe sacrifices that missionary women make to minister to others and to work along side them for a short time. My desire is that I can be Jesus' hands and feet and show love to missionary women as they have loved others and give them a time of respite. My life experience includes being a widow and losing a son and with God’s guidance walking with other women through this process to finding their hope and strength in Christ. I am a retired speech pathologist/teacher, a proud grandmother and an active Court Appointed Special Advocate for children in foster care as well as a Peer Coordinator for other advocates. I enjoy quilting and sewing for my grandkids. I look forward to seeing how God can use me on this journey.

A former city-dweller, one of Carla's favorite things is to spend time in Chicago exploring neighborhood restaurants, going to plays and visiting friends. Carla loves to travel and has been blessed to serve in a variety of capacities in several countries. Her goal is to serve God's global workers full-time. She is in the beginning stages of building a business to fund that goal. Carla is thrilled to be returning to Kenya with the Azmera team where she traveled numerous times in leading a social enterprise, Global Bag Project.
