SPEAKER - Carey Holm
Carey is passionate about listening well to the Shepherd’s voice and pouring her life into whomever God places in her path. She is dedicated to learning God’s Word by heart and longs that His voice be the loudest voice in her everyday life. Working alongside women who serve the King is a joy of hers. She desires to create space, thought and encouragement for women to learn how to listen well to the Lover of Our Souls. She has served with CRU internationally alongside her husband. She spent 9 years pouring into missionaries and national workers in the country of Chile. She has four children ranging from the ages of 20-26. She counts it a privilege to be part of the journey in Kenya and walk alongside women who are impacting others.

WORSHIP LEADER - Debi Moore
Debi loves to sing and make a "joyful noise" unto the Lord! She has been singing since she was 3 years old, and has graduated from her teenage "hair band" days of the '80s to now leading praise and worship! Debi has been involved in short term mission ministry work around the world for several years and has a deep desire to "serve the servant" abroad. She loves to be involved in women's ministry conferences; teaching, speaking, encouraging, listening, praying for, and of course, leading women into God's courts with praise, where we can find contentment and God's great joy!
Debi and her husband live in Canon City, Colorado and own an excavation and wildland firefighting company. They are co-founders of Pearls of Education Foundation, a charity that provides education and restoration to Liberian students. Debi is the co-author of the children's book "A Girl Like Me."

Ann Heinrich
Jesus surprised Ann by giving her a love for women in the field, in just the past few years. She was the licensed counselor for the crew of Mercy Ship's AFM and served in West Africa and the Canaries from 2016-2019. Seeing first hand the needs of women serving Jesus in a unique way. She is a former teaching director of Community Bible Study and has a private counseling practice. She now lives in Dallas, Texas with her husband of many years! They have raised a crew of 6 kids, birth, adopted and guardianship and are the proud grandparents to 12. Loves to travel and looking forward to Azmera retreats.

Jenna Hudlow
Ready to pray with women and encourage them through trauma and inner healing, Jenna has traveled to over 45 countries and lived abroad for 8 years in Asia. Inspired by attending the Thailand Azmera retreat in 2020, Jenna felt called to connect and pray with women about social and physical complexities in their context of serving cross-culturally. She and her husband have been involved in humanitarian work for the past decade and Jenna continues to work for international nonprofits through communication/admin consulting. Now as a boy mama 2 times over (18 months and 3.5 years), she’s catching her breath raising cultured kids in a new language in Mexico.

Beth Kliewer
Beth loves her Savior; spending quality time together is priceless. She can’t get enough of following Jesus on various adventures from her Bakersfield California home to Ireland, Texas, Hungary, and back again. Through 30 years of marriage, 4 kids, multiple callings, she has focused on encouraging and loving the least of these. Bringing hope for the hopeless, loving the forgotten, and touching the sick in Jesus' Name is who she is.

Pat Kroeker
Pat has lived in Gunnison, Colorado since 2007 to be near her two sons and seven grandchildren. She has attended Community Church since moving there and has worked as the office manager and bookkeeper for nine years. She also sings with the Praise Team. It is such a joy to be able to sing God’s praises each Sunday! She attends Bible study each week and is dedicated to serving the Lord in whatever capacity He has for her.

Annette Nicholl
Annette Nicholl served with CRU campus ministry for 20 years, 8 Years in Irkutsk, Russia. Currently, she and her husband Spencer direct a small ministry in Ohio City Colorado called Big Horn Ministries. Their mission is to help people take their next step in life and toward Christ. They offer a place in their remote Colorado location for respite and rest for those who are in crisis, burned out or just need a break. She has two kiddos, Andrew (25) and Kate (21).

Kelly Osness
Kelly and her husband, Chris, started a retail store in the small mountain town of Gunnison Colorado in 1998, which they still own and operate. She has been a Life Group Bible study leader for over 15 years, serves as a mentor for MOPS (Mothers of Preschoolers), and was a local group leader for Women of Faith for twelve years. Her goal is to serve and grow God’s Kingdom through service, encouragement, and leadership. She is the proud mom of Zach (and daughter-in-law, Laura) and Nana to Theo (5), Lukas (3), and Eva (10 months).

Mary Jane Utterback
Mary Jane is a worshipper, prayer warrior and an encourager. Through honest vulnerability, she has experienced the Holy Spirit breaking up and freeing hearts from pain and bondages and seen feet a’dancing. Coming from Scottsdale Arizona, she brings over 40 years of prayer ministry to Azmera for God’s Glory. As a retired teacher she volunteers for Sunday school, VBS, and an after school program called Mentor Kids for children in underprivileged schools. She serves as a music, swimming and reading teacher. She has 4 married children and 17 grandchildren. Excited to serve, she counts it a privilege to pray for God’s girls in Azmera.

Patti Weber
Patti is a Registered Nurse and lives in the beautiful Pacific Northwest in Corvallis, Oregon. She loves serving at Azmera Haven retreat and is so excited to be able to support and encourage the women who will come for this time of refreshment. Patti’s great joy is mentoring the younger women that God brings into her life. She enjoys spending time with her husband, Ed, their families, and exploring God’s amazing creation.

Christina Carter - Executive Director
Having served overseas for 15 years with Cru (12 yrs in Kazakhstan), Christina understands the value of being nurtured, loved, and encouraged while living abroad. She has managed retreats for women serving overseas in over 15 countries. She is passionate about mobilizing believers for what God is doing overseas. When attaining her Bachelor’s degree’s in Travel & Tourism and Marketing, she never imagined God’s great plans for her. She loves being a wife to Andy and a mom to 3 MK's Holly, Curran, and Ian.
