SPEAKER - Peg Forrest
Peg Forrest’s passion is for living out her calling to teach and disciple women of all ages, whether through the spoken or written word. Peg leans on her years of “on-the-job-training” as a global worker in Kenya, as a biblical counselor and Dean of Womenat Arizona Christian University, as well as, her experiences in leading women’s bible studies, and her love of sharing Jesus-relevant-stories, to draw women into deeper intimacy and a more secure identity in their Savior. Peg considers herself a simple woman with a simple message to which ladies everywhere relate and are encouraged.Peg and her husband, a former 6′ 10′′ NBA center for the Phoenix Suns, began Focus Ministries in 1992 on their return from Africa (www.focusministries.org), andtravel worldwide, using their life-stories and experiences to share the gospel with a FreshOutlookCentering Upon the Savior. Together they have written and/or co-authored six books.

WORSHIP LEADER - Debi Moore
Debi has been involved in short-term ministry work around the world for several years and has a deep desire to "serve the servant" abroad. She loves to be involved in women's ministry conferences; teaching, speaking, encouraging, listening, praying for, and of course, leading women into God's courts with praise, where we can find contentment and God's great joy! Debi and her husband live in Canon City, Colorado and own an excavation and wildland firefighting company. They are co-founders of Pearls of Education Foundation, a charity that provides education and restoration to Liberian students. Debi is the co-author of the children's book "A Girl Like Me."

Retreat Manager - Kari Berglund
Kari lives in Littleton, CO. She has three adult children that are all married and two grandsons. Kari spent most of her life homeschooling her three kids, but she really loves to come alongside women in their faith journey through prayer, encouragement, and Bible study. She has been a Bible study leader, youth group worker, and a prayer chairman of Community Bible Study. She has many friends that serve overseas and enjoys the challenge of maintaining those friendships and partnering with what God is doingaround the world in any way she can. In her free time, she pursues photography and anything crafty.

Heather Fowler
Heather Fowler is the Co-Founder of Gracious Ministries along with her husband, Alan, of 32 years. Heather is a retired teacher and now devotes much of her time to social media ministry. Heather and Alan have been in Marriage Ministry for 33 years and Heather has authored several books and Bible studies while teaching and speaking to women and men across the country and around the world. Some of her most precious ministry opportunities have been spent encouraging women in their marriages and through difficult trials. Heather is the proud mother of McKenzie, 27, and Collin, 24

Sue Hudlow
Sue and her husband Gene raised four children overseas and are now retired and living in San Diego, California. Two of their children were born in Central America and two graduated from high school in Central Africa. They also spent several years in North Africa studying Arabic before retiring in 2017. Sue loves having her 96-year-old mom living with them and two little grandsons nearby. Trips to visit their granddaughter in Memphis are treasured. She’s looking forward to sharing life experiences with other women who are in various stages of the same journey of following Jesus - wherever that might take them.

Beth Kliewer
Beth loves her Savior; spending quality time together is priceless. She can’t get enough of following Jesus on various adventures from her Bakersfield California home to Ireland, Texas, Hungary, and back again. Through 30 years of marriage, 4 kids, multiple callings, she has focused on encouraging and loving the least of these. Bringing hope for the hopeless, loving the forgotten, and touching the sick in Jesus' Name is who she is.

Chris Raimo
Chris is looking forward to a return trip to Israel and is excited to serve women at her first Azmera Haven Retreat. It's been her joy to donate and pray for the Azmera retreats for several years. She's a trained Professional Counselor whom the Lord has called to use her skills primarily in informal, relational settings. She enjoys opportunities to encourage, support and pray with others. Chris has worked as a grief counselor and as a hospice chaplain and now manages the office of the construction company that she and her husband own. They live in Berthoud, Colorado and have two amazing kids - a son in high school and a daughter in college.

Ann Watson
Ann and her husband Peter have been married for 36 years and live in Boulder, Colorado. They have 3 adult children, all of whom live in the area. Ann recently retired as Operations Coordinator for Children's Ministry at her church and is thrilled to be volunteering at her 3rd Azmera Retreat. She loves engaging with other women, listening to their stories, and praying with them. She loves the Lord, His creation, and the intricate way He brings people together to serve, learn and grow. Ann loves to laugh, travel, garden, camp, and spend time with her family and friends.

Patti Weber
Patti is a Registered Nurse and lives in the beautiful Pacific Northwest in Corvallis Oregon. She has been on many Azmera Haven retreats so she is excited to be able to support and encourage the women who will come for this time of refreshment. Patti loves working with the youth at her church and spending time with her family and friends, as well as outdoors in God's amazing creation.

Alberta Wray
Alberta has served as a full-time global worker for the past 23 years, having lived in numerous countries in Europe, Africa, and Asia. Currently, she is based outside of Atlanta, Georgia. Her emphasis over these past years has been in the area of member care providing debriefing for hundreds of global workers, along with giving emotional and spiritual support to many along the way. She has served with multiple organizations through her nonprofit Caring For Those Those Who Care. Besides providing support for multiple global agencies, she is also a part of the senior leadership team for Operation Mobilization USA. Her love of people prompted her to complete her MA in Member Care back in 2014.
