SPEAKER - Carey Holm
Carey is passionate about listening well to the Shepherd’s voice and pouring her life into whomever God places in her path. She is dedicated to learning God’s Word by heart and longs that His voice be the loudest voice in her everyday life. Working alongside women who serve the King is a joy of hers. She desires to create space, thought, and encouragement for women to learn how to listen well to the Lover of Our Souls. She has served with CRU internationally alongside her husband in Chile and they have four children.

WORSHIP LEADER - Joy Beless
Joy is a worshipper of God and a lover of people. After living overseas and launching four children, Joy started a worship ministry, The Invitation Project, with live worship events and lyric videos for personal and small group worship. As a spiritual director, she encourages others in their spiritual journey by seeing individuals and hosting solitude retreats. Currently living in the Dallas area – she loves being JoJo to six grandchildren and leading chapel at a homeless shelter for women and children. She enjoys songwriting and encouraging flowers to grow in the Texas heat.

Kari Berglund - Retreat Manager
Kari lives in Littleton, CO. She has 3 adult children that are all married and 2 grandsons. Kari spent most of her life homeschooling her kids. She really loves to come alongside women in their faith journey through prayer, encouragement, and Bible study. She has many global worker friends and enjoys the challenge of maintaining those friendships and partnering with what God is doing around the world in any way she can. In her free time, she pursues photography and anything crafty.

Nancy Etter
Nancy is a Christ-follower, wife, mother, and grandmother. She was born in Indiana but now lives in Memphis. She is married to Jim and they have four adult married children and eleven grandchildren. They all live in Memphis so she gets to pour into the little ones often. She is presently enrolled in the DownLine Institute, growing her love for Jesus and His Word. She enjoys meeting others, hearing their stories, and sharing in our journeys. Her hobbies include cooking, gardening, crocheting, crafting all things, reading, being with family, and eating chocolate.

Madison Jourdan
Madison is from the Memphis, TN area and is enrolled in Downline as a student learning about discipleship and what it means to deeply study the word of God. She is a birth doula and assistant with the goal of becoming a midwife in the future. She is also currently studying to become a certified herbalist. She has a passion for working with women and is an advocate for building community. She loves gardening and being out in nature, taking road trips, drinking tea, reading all the classic literature, writing letters, having deep conversations, and studying the Word with others!

Betsy Killins
Betsy was born and raised in Colombia, South America. Betsy is the Women's Global Coordinator for Downline Ministries as well as the Women's Director for their Emerging Leader discipleship program. She has been involved in discipleship, church planting, cross-cultural training, member care, pastoral counseling, and overseas work for the last 20 years. She is also a professional Spanish-English medical interpreter for a pediatric cancer hospital. One of her absolute favorite titles is "Tia Betsy" for seven amazing nieces and nephews.

Annette Nicholl
Annette Nicholl served with CRU campus ministry for 20 years, 8 Years in Irkutsk, Russia. Currently, she and her husband Spencer serve in Member Care for Samaritans Purse and direct a small ministry in Ohio City Colorado called Big Horn Ministries. Their mission is to help people take their next step in life and toward Christ. They offer a place in their remote Colorado location for respite and rest for those who are in crisis, burned out, or just need a break. Her passion is to help women get back to a listening place with the Lord. She has three grown children; Andrew, Kayla and Kate.

Elise Pistor
Elise loves Jesus and delights in encouraging and affirming women of all ages in their walk with Christ. Calling Dallas, TX home she and her husband Jeff have two sons and a daughter at Baylor! After 23 years as a pilot for American Airlines, Elise retired to homeschool their three children, assuming the director role of the international homeschool program, Classical Conversations, for seven years. Recently, Elise completed her master’s degree in International Relations through Liberty University. The fuel that drives her comes from consistent early mornings on her front porch where she loves meeting with the Lord daily.

Jeri Sanders
Jeri lives in Eureka, Nevada. She is a mother of 9 children from a blended family the youngest being 15 years old adopted at age 9. Jeri is the proud Grandmother of 7 with 2 more on the way. Jeri spent the first part of her career as a housewife and stay-at-home mom and then spent 18 years in Law Enforcement. The Lord has given her a heart to nurture grow and empower individuals along their way to discovering the love of God our Father and a personal relationship with Jesus as Co Heirs in the Kingdom of God. In her free time, she loves nature, watching the sky, reading and most of all cherishes her quiet time to recharge.

Stela Sinanaj
Stela is from Albania, and she currently lives and works in Memphis, TN as a mental health therapist for a non-profit. Stela is currently enrolled in Downline institute as she is diving deeper into the word of God. In Albania, she served in children's ministry and youth ministry. She is passionate about serving women in ministry. Stela loves traveling (obviously), learning about the ways God's artistic hand is displayed in different cultures, photography, international food, spending quality time with international friends, biking, and hiking.

Melissa Wall
Melissa lives in Southaven, MS. She is married to her best friend. They have 5 kids between the two of them and one daughter-in-law and one grandson. She works part-time at her church as a 3-year-old teacher. She and her husband are currently in Downline now. She loves sharing her testimony and God used brokenness and deep pain to restore her and has a heart for loving on other women. The Lord continues to work daily in her own walk, her marriage, and those around her. Now in the hard times, there is an unshakable joy and peace that comes with knowing God is there and never will he leave us or forsake us.
