Short-term teams from supporting churches come through as well. Many of our attendees coordinate these meetings and travel plans. The women attending the retreat are coming from all over East Africa–Kenya, Uganda, and Rwanda. They are multi-cultural global women, all serving in ministry. Each is a bit weary, some from their travels to get to Mombasa, others from the busy pace of ministry. Once they are registered, a refreshing glass of fruit juice is handed to them as they are greeted enthusiastically by the retreat staff. Meet the volunteer retreat staff who have come to serve at the KENYA Azmera Retreat.
