We thought this post would make it up on the blog hours before now, but wouldn't you know, wifi was slow and the women were a lot more fun (and worthwhile!) to spend time with. Israel Azmera Haven Retreat 2016 | The Day Is Here!
Sep 19: The day is here! We have been praying and preparing for this day for a long time. And to be here, on the shore of the Sea of Galilee, the place where Jesus began his ministry; it’s quite fitting and humbling that this is the location of our first Azmera Haven Retreat.
Over the last few days the volunteers have been in preparation for serving at the retreat, training and team building, praying, connecting, adjusting to the time zone and having some fun.

S – that she would find a specific passion again. She would seek the Lord’s guidance and leading in giving her a desire to use the gifts and talents that He has given her, to be filled with joy.
R – that God would provide a good friend for her, someone that she can trust and share her life with without fear of judgment or criticism, a friend who will love unconditionally and be honest and kind. Pray she will trust God to be her provider in His timing.

The first group arrived yesterday and the rest of our sweet volunteer team are en route! We are anxious to have them join us and look forward to continuing to grow closer in friendship with one another and to bond as the amazing team God has already designed us to be!

H – that she would grow in sensitivity to the Holy Spirit and in knowing the Lord in a deeper way. She would be aware of how the Holy Spirit is working and moving, and tune her heart and ears to know His voice.
A – that she and her family would be healthy in every way; for protection and provision physically, spiritually, emotionally and mentally. They would, as a family, seek God first.
