Years ago, God led Becky Chinchen to start Amani Ya Juu which means “Peace from Above” in Swahili. Amani is a sewing and reconciliation program for marginalized women in Africa. Women from many African nations and cultures are learning to work together through faith in God who provides a peace that transcends cultural and ethnic differences.
Beth Calmes is a cofounder and the Director of Project, Academics, and Leadership at Sifa Threads. She is passionate about ladies’ ministry, especially regarding biblical training and the writing of women’s Bible studies in Swahili.

When Tracy Hagman’s son was born at 22 weeks, little did she know how God would use her, her son Simon, and the rest of the family to start Heshima Childrens Center & Dignity Designs. Tracy, and her husband Eric, have a passion to provide dignity for families that otherwise are treated with disdain because of their disabilities.
